The World Sports Expo (WSE) is about promoting sport to the public of WA on a dynamic platform that allows people of all ages to discover a new sporting or recreational passion. WSE will showcase over 110 sporting related exhibitors and sporting associations over three days in the January school holidays. It's the perfect place to take your kids during the summer break.
There will be an 'Interactive & Coaching Zone' space which will see skill tests and sports challenges across 16 sports all running 20 minute clinics throughout each day. At WSE, everyone gets a chance to try something new and learn from the best!
The event theme is simple...Play, Learn and Discover.
Meet your favourite sporting star
Meet some of WA's best sporting teams and players at the show, and get your favourite piece of teamwear autographed by your favourite sport star. Players from West Coast Eagles, Fremantle Dockers, Perth Wildcats, Perth Glory, Western Force and Retravision Warriors are all set to make an appearance on the trophy stage at various times throughout the expo.
Parents Zone
WSE will ensure that whilst the kids are off playing all the different sporting and recreational activities, Mum and Dad have time to educate themselves by having one-on-one conversations with the sporting associations and clubs to find out how to get their kids involved in their chosen sporting passion.
Once that’s done, they can take advantage of the great prices on sporting services, apparel and equipment and then relax in the Parents Zone with massage and treatments from Chi Body Spirit just a few feet away or watch the non-stop sports action on the plasma's thanks to One HD. There will also be a number of cafes operating within the expo.
Perth's first real indoor snow slide!
Inside the World Sports Expo, you will have a chance to take a ride on a 25 metre long, 6 metre wide and 3 metre high real snow slide. Imagine hitting the slopes in Perth in the middle of summer. If you've never seen snow or if you’re a regular on the slops, this is not to be missed!
