1. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase any four (4) of the following specially marked promotional products from any participating store between 01/11/2010 and close of business on 31/01/2011 (or before 20,000 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur): * Weet-Bix 750g pack;
* Weet-Bix 1kg pack;
* Weet-Bix 1.2kg pack;
* Weet-Bix 1.3kg pack;
* Weet-Bix Bites Wild Berry 500g;
* Weet-Bix Bites Crunchy Honey 510g;
* Weet-Bix Bites Apricot 500g; and
* Weet-Bix Bites Cocoa Malt 500g.
Each promotional pack will contain a unique code on the inside of the pack. Individuals must collect four (4) unique codes (from the purchase of four (4) participating specially marked packs) to be eligible to claim.
2. To claim, individuals must then visit
www.weetbix.com.au, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details including the four (4) unique codes and submit the fully completed online claim form so that it is received by 11.59pm AEDST on 31/01/2011. Offer is strictly limited to the first 20,000 valid claims received.
Individuals must provide their residential address on the online entry form. Individuals who provide a PO box address will not be eligible for entry.
Terms and Conditions
1. Instructions on how to claim and the reward form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
2. Claims are only open to Australian residents. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to enter this Promotion.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Incomplete or indecipherable claims will be deemed invalid.
6. Multiple claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) claim permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim requirements; and (c) a maximum of two (2) claims per household are permitted. Offer is strictly limited to the first 20,000 valid claims received. 7. Claimants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to an offer. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the promotional period but prior to claim.
8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
9. Promotion commences on 01/11/2010 and ends for purchases at close of business on 31/01/2011 or once a total of 20,000 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur. Claims close at 11.59pm AEDST on 31/01/2011 or when 20,000 valid claims have been received, whichever is first to occur.
10. Successful claimants will be notified immediately online and subsequently by mail.
11. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The first 20,000 valid claims received will each be awarded a Weet-Bix Commemorative Cap valued at $24.95. The rewards will be delivered to the successful claimants within 28 days of claim submission.
13. Total value of all rewards is $499,000.
14. If for any reason a claimant does not take the reward or an element of the reward by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the reward or that element of the reward will be forfeited.
15. If the reward is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the reward with an offer to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
16. Rewards are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
17. Once the rewards leave the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter shall not be liable for the rewards being lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way before they reach the claimant.
18. Claimants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this offer (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
19. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
20. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
21. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all claims submitted by that entrant invalid.
22. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim or offer that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in offer value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of the reward.
23. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, offer suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the Promoter.
