Hey, young passengers! We hope you’re enjoying your flight on Jetstar. At Jetstar Airways, we love hearing about the holiday adventures of our young passengers. Now we’re giving you even more reason to tell us about your trip, because each month the three best letters we receive from our Jetstar passengers will win a AU$100 flight voucher.

It’s easy to win! To enter, eligible entrants must (during the promotion period) fly Jetstar on a holiday and write a letter to us telling us about all about your holiday in 100 words or less. Your entry should include where you went, what you did, what you liked, what you saw, pictures, photos, drawings — everything that you enjoyed on your holiday!

Entries must be sent via post (at the expense of the entrant) labelled Jetstar Magazine My Holiday Competition to PO BOX 4713, Melbourne Victoria, 3001.

To enter Write a 100-word story about your holiday and post your entry, along with your Jetstar boarding pass, to Jetstar Magazine, My Holiday Competition, PO BOX 4713, Melbourne Victoria, 3001. The promotion commences at 12.01 am (AEDT) on 1 November, 2010 and closes at midnight 12.00 pm (AEST) on 30 April, 2011. The winners will be the most colourful and creative entries submitted each month during the Promotion Period, as selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Promotor. Winners will be notified by email within two days of the judging taking place at the beginning of each new month. There are 18 individual prizes. Each prize is the same and consists of 1 x AU$100 Jetstar voucher. Three prizes are issued per month for the duration of the promotion (6 months). The total value of the prizes is AU$1,800. The promoter is Jetstar Airways Pty Limited (ABN 33 069 720 243) of Level 4, 222 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000.

Terms and Conditions - Game of Skill

By entering the Jetstar Magazine My Holiday Competition, you agree to the following conditions:

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. The promoter is Jetstar Airways Pty Limited (ABN 33 069 720 243) of Level 4, 222 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Promoter).

Eligibility

3. Entry is open only to Australian residents (Eligible Entrants) excluding directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and registered travel companions of employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate.

4. Eligible Entrants who are under 18 years of age at the date of posting their entry must have permission from their parent or legal guardian to enter.

5. The promotion commences at 12.01 am (AEDT) on 1 November, 2010 and closes at midnight 12.00 pm (AEST) on 30 April, 2011 (Promotion Period). Only entries that are received during that time will be eligible for entry.

Competition entry

6. To enter, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
6.1 Fly Jetstar on a holiday; and
6.2 Write and send a letter to Jetstar telling us about all about your holiday in 100 words or less.
6.3 Entries may include; where you went, what you did, what you liked, what you saw, pictures, photos, drawings; everything that you enjoyed on your holiday.
6.4 Entries must be sent via post (at the cost of the Eligible Entrant) labelled Jetstar Magazine, My Holiday Competition to PO BOX 4713, Melbourne Victoria, 3001.

7. All letters must include contact details (including parent/legal guardian's full name where Eligible Entrant is younger than 18 years old at the date of posting their entry), postcode, email address and phone number.

8. If you wish to have your entry sent back to you, please include a stamped, self addressed envelope in your entry.

9. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and will be rejected. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where it reasonably suspects that such materials are prohibited by these terms and conditions, any relevant law, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate. This is at the Promoter's absolute discretion and discussions will not be entered into. Entries that are considered unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, contain objectionable content or are otherwise inappropriate will not be deemed valid and rejected.

10. There is a limit of one entry per person.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not (in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter) in accordance with these terms and conditions.

12. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.

Judging

13. The winner will be the entry judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter to be the most colourful and creative answer from the pool of entries submitted each month during the Promotion Period. All entries will be judged at 12.00pm (AEDT) at the offices of the Promoter within the first three days of each month (based on the previous month's entries) for the duration of the promotion.

14. The top three entries each month, as determined by the panel of judges, from Eligible Entrants will be the three monthly winners. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.

15. Winners will be notified by email within two days of the judging taking place at the beginning of each new month.

16. The judges' decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.

17. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize.

The prize

18. There are 18 prizes, each valued at $100. The maximum total prize pool value is AU$1,800, based on the recommended retail value at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes.

19. Each prize is a $100 Jetstar Gift Voucher.

20. Three winners will be awarded a prize each month during the Promotion Period.

22. Winners will receive their voucher via email within seven days of the end of the month Jetstar receives the entry.

23. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the recipient is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not redeemable for cash or other goods and services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter.

24. In the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize within 30 days after being notified as a winner by the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the Eligible Entrant with the next most colourful and creative answer from the month's entries to which the forfeited or unclaimed prize relates (determined by the judges appointed by the Promoter during the next round of judging, or for April 2011 entries, at 1.00pm (AEST) on 1 May 2011 at Level 4, 222 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000), subject to any written direction given under applicable law. A winner awarded a prize by this method will be contact on the day of judging by telephone or email.

25. Compliance with any health or other government requirements and all travel documentation (eg. visas) is the responsibility of the winner. Without limiting the above, entry into any country and satisfying any customs or related requirements is the full responsibility of the winner. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

26. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.

27. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and their respective officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

28. Jetstar collects personal information about entrants for the purpose of running this competition. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes. Without limiting the foregoing Eligible Entrants' personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement, a copy of which is available at www.jetstar.com.
