Based on folk tales, myths and legends from India to Iran to Egypt, Arabian Nights is magical theatre to delight all the senses.
Seven tales, including Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Es-Sindibad the Sailor, are told within the larger story of King Shahrayar who, driven mad by his first wife's unfaithfulness, has decided to take a new bride every night and execute her in the morning. To save her life, the new young Queen Shahrazad distracts the king night after night with her spellbinding stories of romance, heroism, comic misfortune and epic adventure and eventually wins his love.
An ensemble of actors, belly dancers, musicians and puppeteers presents a gripping and entertaining piece of storytelling to enthral the whole family.
