2010 NEWS LIMITED MOVIE MARKETER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION
ENTRY FORM & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Please fill out the entry form and send with your submission.
2. Entrants must be currently working directly for a Movie Distributor or Exhibitor in Australia.
3. Quarterly entries must be received by 5pm on the deadline dates to be considered for entry, addressed to:

Terms & Conditions
1. Entrants must currently be working in Australia and directly employed for a movie distribution or exhibition organisation in marketing, media,
strategy, advertising, PR or account planning.
2. Entry can be submitted by an individual or on behalf of a team and must be sent with the relevant entry form.
3. Entries must be supplied typed on A4 paper and stapled. Entry may be accompanied by relevant supporting material
4. Six copies of each entry are required. If submitting supporting material, one copy for each entry is required. Two copies of the entry form are required
for processing and administration.
5. News Limited Movie Marketer of the Year submissions must be original work created by the entrants and/or their company.
6. By entering the competition participants agree that they or another suitable employee of the same company are able (should they be selected) to
attend the Movie Convention on the Gold Coast in August 2011 where the winner will be announced. Winners are responsible for arranging their own
travel and accommodation expenses to the movie convention.
7. All entries into the competition become the property of News Limited and may be developed into an individual case study for the entertainment
category and promoted by News Limited or any of its subsidiaries on or in any of their trade websites, presentations and printed sales materials.
8. Entrants in the competition must be working for the same movie distributor or exhibitor for which they’ve submitted their entry at the time of the
final round judging in July 2011 to be eligible to redeem their prize.
9. More than one entry may be submitted in each round or throughout the duration of the competition.
10. The same movie can not be entered into more than one preliminary round
11. Entries must not exceed 1000 words excluding graphs, media schedules & creative work. Entries over 1000 words will not be accepted. Appendices
are exclusive of the 1000 word limit. Entries must be A4 stapled and also supplied on CD saved in word.
12. A single winning entry from each round will be selected by the judges. Each of those winning entries will then be considered in the final round
competition to win the major prize of the media package from News Limited.
13. The prize is awarded to the Movie Distribution or Exhibition company for whom the individual entrant or team is directly employed by at the time of
entry and not the individual.
14. The prize allows for News Limited to match the winner’s campaign media spend for a single campaign, dollar for dollar on News Limited media assets
only. The package cannot be redeemed for cash, and any unused media cannot be credited for future campaigns. The prize can only be redeemed by
the winner’s company (Employer listed at the time of entry) for use in a movie campaign nominated by the winner.
15. Total prize value is capped at $250,000 and can be invested to best suit your campaign using a mix of News Limited newspapers, magazines and
online media brands to the maximum value of
a. $75,000 across NDM web sites
b. $100,000 in News Limited newspapers
c. $75,000 in News Magazines
16. The movie campaign selected by the winner to redeem the prize must go live before July 31 2012.
17. All entries must be received by News Limited by the deadlines specified for each round by 5pm. The winners will be contacted by phone or email.
18. News Limited, its agents, affiliates or representatives will not be liable for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
19. The Promoter is News Limited (ABN 47 007 871 178) of 2 Holt Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010.
20. Entry details remain the property of News Limited. Collection of the Entrant’s personal information is for the purpose of conducting this competition
(including but not limited to determining and notifying winners). The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by contacting the
Privacy Officer on (02) 9288 3213.
21. This is a game of skill promotion.
22. The judges' decision is final.
