Win iPad competition terms and conditions
The terms and conditions for the Win iPad competition.

No purchase necessary to enter or win - Maximum total value of prize is $649 Apple iPad 16GB Wi-Fi.

1.You must be 18 years or older to win.
2.To enter:
1.Join the Customer Underground site (http://customerunderground.com).  Each new member during the contest period automatically gets one entry in the draw.
2.Existing members may enter the draw by emailing cu [at] customerunderground [dot] com and asking to be entered.
3.To improve your chances of winning, additional entries in the draw will be awarded to those who have entered for:
1.Posting about the contest on Facebook or Twitter:  for each site, one additional entry per post per person per day, up to a maximum of two extra entries per person per day, during the promotional period.  On Facebook, you must tag your post to Customer Underground (by typing “@Customer Underground” and selecting Customer Underground from the drop-down list) to receive your bonus entry; on Twitter, you must tag your post with “@customeruground” to receive your bonus entry.
2.Reviewing businesses:  new and existing users will each be awarded two further entries for each new business review they post on Customer Underground during the promotional period.
3.Sharing reviews on Twitter or Facebook:  for each site, one additional entry per person per day for sharing reviews to Twitter and Facebook, up to a maximum of two extra entries per person per day.  On Facebook, you must tag your post to Customer Underground (by typing “@Customer Underground” and selecting Customer Underground from the drop-down list, or posting to the Customer Underground wall at http://www.facebook.com/customerunderground) to receive your bonus entry; on Twitter, you must tag your post with “@customeruground” to receive your bonus entry.
4.Only one member account per person will be eligible to win.  Any member suspected of creating multiple “dummy” accounts to gain multiple contest entries will be disqualified.
5.You must have provided a valid email address upon joining Customer Underground in order to be eligible to win.
6.The promotion commences on 15 November 2010 at 7:00am EST and will close on 15 January 2010 at 23:59 EST.
7.The winner will be drawn on 17 January 2010.  The first valid entry will receive the prize.  The winner will be drawn via random.org (http://www.random.org) at 41 Riley Street, Woolloomooloo, NSW.  The winner will be notified by email on or before 20 January 2010.  The winner will be announced by Customer Underground username on the Customer Underground site (http://customerunderground.com) and on Twitter (by Twitter username, if applicable) and Facebook (by Facebook name, if the winner has received entries via sharing on Facebook) on or before 20 January 2010.  The winner’s name will also be published in The Australian on 20 January 2010.
8.The winner must claim the prize by responding to the notification email via email to cu [at] customerunderground [dot] com.
9.We will only ship the prize to an Australian postal address. Winners from outside Australia must be able to retrieve the prize from an Australian postal address to be eligible to win. If you live outside Australia you are responsible for any taxes, custom duties and shipping costs in the event you win.
10.One prize will be awarded.  Maximum total value of the prize is $649 Apple iPad 16GB Wi-Fi.  All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
11.Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.  The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches.  If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
12.The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion.  Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.  The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion.
13.Prize will be shipped within 6 weeks after the close of the promotion.
14.The prize must be claimed via return email within 3 months after the date of the draw (i.e., by 17 April 2011).  If the prize has not been claimed within that time, there will be a re-draw on 21 April 2011.
15.This contest is not available to individuals who reside in a country embargoed by the United States or Australia or to individuals residing in Belgium, Norway, Sweden, or India.
16.The contest is not open to shareholders, directors, or employees of Customer Underground or their immediate families.
17.Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion.  By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.  Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on 0434-004-890 or cu [at] customerunderground [dot] com during office hours.
