For this reason, we are offering free warranty extensions from 1 to 3 Years on Professional Cordless Tools1 and Pneumatical Nailers2 purchased on or after dates listed below*.
Registration is easy!
To register your selected Bosch Professional Power Tools and extend your warranty from 1 to 3 years, please register as a user first. Once you have registered, a confirmation e-mail containing your username and password will be sent to your email address.
Access your personal warranty page to register your selected Bosch Professional Power Tools for the warranty extension.
Another email will then be sent to the registered address, which you should print out as proof of warranty extension.
Power tool dealers who support customer online warranty registrations should register as a dealer first.
* Product Ranges which are eligible for 3 Years Warranty Extension:
• Bosch Professional Cordless Tools (purchased on or after August 1st, 2010)
• Bosch Pneumatic Nailers (purchased on or after
October 1st, 2010)
1 Corded Tools, Measuring Tools, Cordless Bosch DIY Tools, High Frequency Tools, Production Cordless Screwdrivers, Air Tools, supplied accessories, battery packs and battery chargers are excluded from warranty extension.
2 Pneumatical nailers range includes GTK 40, GSK 50, GSK 64, GSK 64-34, and GSN 90-34DK. Normal wear Items - Bumpers, driver blades, o-rings, pistons, piston rings, negator springs, and air inlet casing are excluded from warranty extension.
Warranty Conditions (PDF, 236 KB)
All Bosch branded power tools, pneumatic tools and measuring tools are carefully checked, tested and are subject to
the stringent quality controls of Bosch Quality Assurance.
Bosch offers a manufacturer’s repair or replacement warranty for Bosch power tools, pneumatic tools and measuring
tools (‘Tools’) in accordance with the following conditions:
1. WARRANTY
Bosch offers at its option, to repair or replace a Tool at no charge, if it can be verified to the satisfaction of Bosch, or
a Bosch Silver Service Dealer or a Bosch Authorised Service Dealer that the repair or replacement is necessary due
to a material or manufacturing fault arising during the warranty period set out in clause 2 below.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
(a) Bosch Green Tools used solely for DIY / domestic purposes: 24 months;
(b) Bosch Professional (Blue) Tools used for commercial / professional purposes: 12 months; and
(c) Bosch Battery Packs and Chargers: 6 months.
(d) Bosch Professional (Blue) Pneumatic Nailers used for commercial / professional purposes: 12
months
Bosch Professional Cordless Tools 3 year warranty:
The warranty period for Bosch Professional (Blue) Cordless Tools may be extended from 12 months to 3 years if it is
registered with Bosch, as follows:
(a) The Tool must be registered with Bosch within 4 weeks of the date of purchase.
(b) Registration can only be made at
www.bosch-pt.com.au/warranty or
www.bosch-pt.co.nz/warranty.
(c) A copy of the warranty confirmation certificate and proof of purchase (such as a receipt) is necessary to
validate any claim.
(d) This warranty extension is not available for all corded tools, measuring tools, high frequency tools,
production cordless screwdrivers, air tools, supplied accessories, battery packs and battery chargers.
All warranty periods commence on the date of original purchase of the Tool.
Bosch Professional (Blue) Pneumatic Nailers 3 year warranty:
The warranty period for Bosch Professional (Blue) Pneumatic Nailers may be extended from 12 months to 3 years if
it is registered with Bosch, as follows:
(a) The Tool must be registered with Bosch within 4 weeks of the date of purchase.
(b) Registration can only be made at
www.bosch-pt.com.au/warranty or
www.bosch-pt.co.nzwarranty.
(c) A copy of the warranty confirmation certificate and proof of purchase (such as a receipt) is
necessary to validate any claim.
(d) The following Pneumatic nailers are eligible for the 3 Year warranty - GTK 40, GSK 50, GSK 64, GSK
64-34, and GSN 90-34DK.
(e) This warranty extension is not available for all corded tools, measuring tools, high frequency tools,
production cordless screwdrivers, production air tools, supplied accessories, battery packs and
battery chargers.
(f) Pneumatic Nailers Warranty extension excludes - Normal wear Items - Bumpers, driver blades,
o-rings, pistons, piston rings, negator springs, and air inlet casing.

3. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The warranty is VOID if damage to or failure of the Tool is caused by (whether in whole or part):
(a) Failure to comply with written instructions
(b) Use of a Tool for purposes other than for which it was designed or sold (such as commercial /
professional use of Green Tools)
(c) Negligence or misuse
(d) Damage whether accidental, wilful or intentional
(e) Continued use after a fault becomes known or apparent
(f) Abnormal environmental conditions, inappropriate operating conditions, overload or insufficient
servicing or maintenance
(g) Unauthorised repairs or alterations or use of accessories, components or spare parts other than original
Bosch parts
(h) Any slight deviations from the specified quality that do not affect the value and functionality of the Tool
(i) Foreign matter such as dirt, moisture or liquid entering the Tool.
This warranty DOES NOT include:
(a) Normal wear and tear
(b) Costs of normal or scheduled maintenance, service or cleaning
(c) Any labour costs, damage to property, personal injury, loss of profits, direct or indirect loss, consequential
losses or other expenses
(d) Consumables and accessories.
4. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
(a) A warranty claim must be received within the warranty period specified in clause 2 above.
(b) Partially or completely disassembled Tools cannot be the subject of a warranty claim.
(c) Bosch (or a Bosch Silver Service Dealer or Bosch Authorised Service Dealer) will solely determine if a
warranty claim is approved or declined in accordance with the terms of this warranty, and if a repair or
replacement will be made.
(d) Invalid warranty claims may be repairable, in which case an estimate of the repair cost may be offered.
The owner will in this case also be responsible for any freight and related costs for return of the Tool.
(e) The Tool is at the owner’s risk whilst in transit.
(f) This warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original purchaser of the Tool.
(g) Repair or replacement of the Tool under this warranty does not lengthen or renew the warranty period for
the Tool.

5. HOW TO LODGE A WARRANTY CLAIM
(a) Proof of purchase or a copy of the receipt, purchase date, model details, serial numbers and a full
description of the problem must be submitted with each warranty claim.
(b) For Bosch Professional Cordless 3 year warranty claims, the warranty confirmation certificate and proof
of purchase must be submitted with each warranty claim.
(c) In all cases, the Tool must be returned to the store of purchase or call the numbers listed at the end of
this warranty for further details.
6. PRIVACY ACT 1988 (CTH)
A customer’s personal information collected during warranty registration may be used for the provision of customer
support, for the provision of information about products and services and for other marketing activities undertaken by
Bosch and their business partners within or on behalf of Bosch (‘Purpose’).
Bosch is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers’ personal information. It will act in compliance with the
National Privacy Principles and Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Bosch will not forward customers’ personal information to third
parties other than for the Purpose. A customer can object at any time to the use of their personal information for the
Purpose. Bosch will cease to use a customer’s personal information accordingly if an objection is made.
7. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS
(e.g., COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT 2010 (CTH))
This warranty does not affect any of your statutory rights. This warranty is provided in addition to any statutory rights or
guarantees imposed or implied by any applicable law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
