Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2 Entry to the promotion is open to all eligible entrants aged 13 years and over who who have a current Australian passport which is valid for at least 6 months from 4/04/2011, who are able to take the prize on the dates specified (see condition 12) and who fulfil the entry requirements. (Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain permission from their parent/guardian to enter the promotion). Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible. âImmediate familiesâ means spouse, parent, guardian, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manager, employee, officer or contractor.
3 The Promotion begins on 12:01am 24/01/2011 and closes for SMS entries: 9.59.59 am (Sydney time) on 20/02/2011 and mail entries: last mail received 18/02/2011 (Promotion Period).
4 To enter, consumers must purchase any TWO Gatorade products (Products) from participating Woolworths/Safeway stores (excluding Woolworths Petrol and Woolworths Online) during the Promotion Period and either:
(a) send an SMS from their mobile phone to 1997 7777 giving the last 5 digits of the barcodes of the Products purchased and their details in one message in the following format:

OR
(b) write their name, address, daytime contact number and last five digits of the Product barcodes on the back of a stamped envelope containing the original labels, and send to âGatorade ICC Cricket World Cup Promotion', PO Box 685, Eastern Suburbs MC NSW 2004. Each entry must be in a separate envelope.Entrants must retain ALL purchase receipts (or photocopies) for ALL entries.The receipts must show that the purchase was made during the Promotion Period. If not, all entries by the entrant may be declared invalid by the Promoter. Failure to provide the receipt(s) to the Promoter upon request may result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoterâs discretion, in all of the entrantâs other entries being invalid).
Multiple entries are allowed, however each entry must be supported by a separate qualifying purchase. If not, all entries by the entrant may be declared invalid by the Promoter at its absolute discretion. A combined maximum of 5 entries per person per day is allowed.5 Sharing receipts or any other use of third party receipts is not allowed. If the Promoter reasonably believes that an entry has been made on this basis, the Promoter may invalidate all entries affected.
6 SMS entry is only open to consumers with a compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits text messaging to the Promotion SMS number. It is recommended that entrants check with their individual service provider in this regard. The maximum cost of the SMS is 55 cents (inc GST). User must have account holder permission to use service. Entries sent outside the Promotion Period cost a maximum of 55c (inc GST), but are ineligible for entry.
7 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over mobile telephone communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
8 All draws will be conducted at 10:00am at Level 1, 28 Richards Avenue Surry Hills NSW.
9 Daily draws: There are a total of 28 minor prizes to be won, with 1 draw conducted each day (including weekends), commencing on 24/01/2011 and ending on 20/02/2011.
All entries received up until the time of the draw will be included in the daily draw.10 Each minor prize is an official Australian Test Match replica shirt signed by Mitchell Johnson, valued at $189.95 each (inc GST).
Total Minor Prize pool: $5,318.60 (inc GST).
11 Major draw: the major draw will be conducted on 28/02/2011.
12 The first valid entry randomly drawn in the major draw will win the Major Prize. The Major Prize is a trip for two to Mumbai, India to coincide with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final on 2/4/2011 (travel dates: 31/3/2011 â 4/4/2011), and comprises:⢠two (2) return economy airfares to Mumbai from the winnerâs nearest State/Territory capital city (carrier selected by the Promoter);
⢠return transfers between airport/hotel;
⢠return transfers between hotel/ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final venue;
⢠two general entry tickets to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Final;
⢠four (4) nights accommodation at a 5 star hotel in Mumbai (including breakfast);
⢠dinner at selected restaurants on four (4) evenings including one with a cricketing âlegendâ;
⢠three sightseeing tours (details including length and destinations as specified by Promoter);
⢠cricket âtraining sessionâ at Islam Gymkhana Ground;
⢠return transfers to all Promoter- organised activities; and
⢠AU $500 spending money.
The winner will be notified immediately by telephone. The winner must confirm their availability to take the prize on the specified dates by 5:00pm (Sydney time) 14/03/2011. In the event that a winner is unable to take the prize on the specified dates, or has not claimed the prize by 5:00pm (Sydney time) 14/03/2011, or has not confirmed their availability to take the prize on the specified dates by 5:00pm (Sydney time) on 14/03/2011, then the winnerâs entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct further draws at 10:00am on 15/03/2011 at the same location as the original draw to distribute the prize, if permitted by relevant legislation.
The major prize is valued at up to $20,000 (inc GST) depending on the winnerâs location of residence.
If the winner of the prize is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to the winnerâs parent or guardian on behalf of the winner. In the event that one of the people participating or nominated to participate in the prize is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian of the participant must be present for the duration of the prize, as the other participant.
The winner and participant taking the trip must depart and return at the same time using the same air carrier. The person awarded the prize is responsible for ensuring that all necessary documentation to travel is obtained (including valid passports and required visas), otherwise the winnerâs entry will be deemed invalid.
All additional spending money, meals, taxes, insurance, transfers and all other ancillary costs, including any costs associated with passports and visas and costs associated with transport etc from the winnerâs place or places of residence to the winnerâs nearest airport are the responsibility of the winner.
A person who chooses to participate in any physical activities may only do so if they are medically fit. Participants must declare to the Promoter any health-related issues that may affect safe participation in any physical activities. The Promoter reserves the right to deem that a person is not sufficiently fit to participate.
It is strongly recommended that the winner and participant of the Major Prize acquire adequate travel insurance (this is not provided as part of the Major Prize). The Promoter also recommends that the winner and participant consult the information/recommendations provided on the Australian government website
www.smartraveller.gov.au.
Each participant is required to sign an indemnity in a form approved by the Promoter in favour of the Promoter and all involved parties prior to participating. If they do not sign that indemnity form, they will not be able to participate. The prize winner and participant agree to comply with any reasonable directions or guidelines notified to them by the Promoter or its agents.
The Major Prize is subject to booking, visa and flight availability and must be taken between 31/3/2011 and 4/4/2011 (inclusive). No extension will be permitted. Any alterations to confirmed prize details will be at the expense of the winner and will only be permitted with the Promoter's prior consent.
13 The total prize pool is valued at up to $25,318.60 (inc GST).
14 At the Promoterâs request, winners must participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.
15 The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, and the agencies and companies associated with this promotion, will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any personâs negligence) by any person in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
16 Winners will be notified in writing. The name and state of residence of the Major Prize winner will be published in The Australian on 7/03/2011. The Promoter may also publish the name and the State/Territory of residence of the winners on its website or in a trade publication. By entering this Promotion, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published.
17 Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash (except where otherwise stated) or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. The value of the prize is accurate as at 26/10/2010. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize after that date. If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each State/Territory, where relevant.
18 The Promoter may require entrants to validate any one or all of their entries in the promotion at any time during the promotion prior to being eligible to claim the Prize. The Promoter may require the winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of compliance with any other eligibility or entry criteria. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoterâs discretion. After identification document requirements are established, if requested, an entrant must deliver copies within 7 days of being asked to do so. At the Promoterâs request, an entrant must also allow the Promoter to inspect and copy the original of any such documents within 7 days of being asked to do so.
19 If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the Prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry. The judgesâ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoterâs decision not to enforce a specific condition does not constitute a waiver of that condition or of the Conditions of Entry in general.
20 The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Promotion by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
21 If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
22 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of the promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Officeâs stated view that where the parties are at armâs length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
23 In the event of a minor prize not being accepted or claimed within 3.5 months of the last draw, the relevant winnerâs entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct such further draws (at 12 noon on 31/05/2011 at the same location as the original draw) as are necessary to distribute the prize. Winners will be notified in writing.
24 All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion and for the other purposes of collection as set out in the Promoterâs privacy policy. The Promoter may disclose entrantsâ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory lottery departments and winnersâ names may be published as required under the relevant legislation. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
