 COMPETITION AND ENTRY DETAILS


1.         METHOD OF ENTRY:


Recorded campaign trailers will encourage listeners to register online and answer a question for the chance to come along to an exclusive cinema screening of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 on Sunday 6 February 2011.


The screening will be staffed by a MixFm Street Team member, with all children to receive a Disney gift bag on arrival.


 


 


2.         PRIZES:


 


25 x Family passes (admit 4) to an exclusive cinema screening per market valued at $70 each ($17.50 per ticket) = $1,750 per market


 


Total value for both markets = $3,500


 


 


3.         SCHEDULE


 


1.1 Pre-promotion commencement date:N/A


1.2 Active Contesting dates:Sunday 23 January – Tuesday 2 February 2011.


1.3 Minimum Age: All contestants under 18 years must have permission from their parent or guardian to claim the prize.


1.4 Limitation of Entry: As per point 3 in conditions of entry.


1.5 Winner selection date and time:  All winners will be selected between Monday 24 January – Wednesday 3 February 2011.


1.6 Winner selection announcement details:  All winners will be notified prior to Sunday 6 February 2011.


 


 


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY


 


1.         THE PROMOTER


 


This competition is promoted by the Australian Radio Network owner of the radio station/s listed above.


 


 


2.          PROMOTION DATES:


 


This competition commences on Sunday 23 January and ends on Tuesday 2 February 2011.


 


 


3.         WHO MAY ENTER:


 


Entry is open to Australian residents only. Entrants under 18 years of age must have permission from their parents or legal guardian to submit an entry and/or claim their prize. The Promoter may make inquiries as it deems necessary in its absolute discretion, to satisfy itself that such consent has been obtained. Otherwise the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.


 


The following persons are not eligible to enter and be awarded prizes:


 


(i)            employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or any companies or agencies involved and/or associated with this competition; or


 


(ii)           the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household); or


 


iii)        entrants who have won a prize/prizes valued either individually or collectively at more than $100 from the Promoter, or in any contest run by the Promoter, in the prior 30 days; or


 


iv)        entrants who are discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.


 


All entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Conditions of Entry even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has awarded the prize to the ineligible person.  Return of the prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter can be required by the Promoter if this occurs.


 


 


 3.        SELECTION OF WINNERS:


 


The winners will be selected from all entries received during the active contesting dates, based on the quality of their answer.


 


 


4.         PRIZE NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION:


 


All winners will be notified prior to the screening on Sunday 6 February 2011.


 


 


5.         PRIZE COLLECTION:



All winners will have their names added to the door list for the screening on Sunday 6 February 2011. Physical tickets will not be posted out.


 


The winner of the prize must claim his/her prize at the screening on Sunday 6 February 2011. The prize is not valid for any other day or time.


 


Upon request by the Promoter a copy of these Conditions of Entry and/or a signed receipt and acknowledgement must be signed and endorsed by any winner to indicate his/her understanding and acceptance of these terms.


 


 


6.         PUBLICITY:


 


Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Promoter and/or Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment to use the winner’s name, suburb of residence, recording of winner’s voice and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.


 


 


7.         OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES:


 


Subject to the limits contained in the Privacy Statement, all entries become and remain the property of the Promoter.


 


 


8.         EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:


 


The Promoter takes no responsibility for the prize becoming lost or stolen after it has been released to the entrant.


 


To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained including, but not limited to indirect or consequential (including economic) loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained, either directly or indirectly, as a result of entering this competition or accepting or using any prize.


 


A winner (or his or her guests/parent/guardian as appropriate) may be required to sign and return any liability release provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of the prize being awarded.  Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and a selection of another winner.


 


 


9.         DISQUALIFICATION:


 


The Promoter is not responsible for lost, interrupted communications or unavailable network server or other connections, failed telephone, mid-delivery or computer transmissions, or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.


 


The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.  Subject to any written directions given under the applicable law, if for any reason, the competition is not capable of operating as planned, including infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition, then the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition.


 


The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for:


a) Tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries, or any other process as determined by the Promoter that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion;


b) Tampering with the operation of the competition or web site;


c) Acting in violation of these terms and conditions;


d) Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or


If an entrant selected as winner is found to be in breach of these conditions of entry, a new winner may be selected and, in the event that the entrant in breach has been awarded a prize, the entrant may be required to return the prize or reimburse the value of the prize to the Promoter.


 


 


10.       PARTICIPATION:


 


Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant’s unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Conditions of Entry and Competition and Entry Details.  The Conditions of Entry may change from time to time. Any changes to conditions will be posted on the www.mix1065.com.au and www.mix1011.com.au websites.  The Entrant is responsible for ensuring his or her familiarity with the Conditions of Entry at the time of participation.  The Promoter’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Conditions of Entry generally.


 


 


11.       PERSONAL INFORMATION:


 


The Promoter is collecting the personal information relating to each entry for the purposes of conducting this promotion and/or publishing the winners’ details as required by law. If any of the information requested is not provided the entry may be ineligible. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to the judges of the competition including  and/or any agents, contractors or other service providers (including professional advisers) of the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion or for the purpose of obtaining advice arising from, or related to, the entrant’s participation in this promotion. Access to any entrant’s personal information may be generally requested by the entrant by writing to the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at ARN, 3 Byfield Street, North Ryde 2113. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or if under 18 their parents or guardians) consent to the way in which their personal information will be dealt with as set out in this Condition 11 and the Online Privacy Statement of The Australian Radio Network.
