Ergon Energy is collecting your personal information on the ‘Take the 60 second storm safety check’ form for the purpose of sending you a gift and entering you into a competition draw to win 1 of 3 digital cameras to the value of $249.95. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third parties, unless in accordance with or permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your details will remain on our database for 12 months, after which these details will be destroyed. If you wish to obtain access to the information or wish to opt out of receiving direct marketing material in relation to Ergon Energy products, you may contact Ergon Energy's Privacy Officer on 13 10 46 or email

Terms and Conditions
1.The promoter is Ergon Energy Corporation Limited ABN 50 087 646 062 of 22 Walker St, Townsville, Queensland Australia 4810 (“Ergon Energy”).
2.Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry.
3.Entry is open to Queensland residential customers (franchise) of Ergon Energy Corporation Limited and Ergon Energy Queensland Pty Ltd. Employees (and their families) of Ergon Energy Corporation Limited, Ergon Energy Queensland Pty Ltd and their related bodies corporate, are not eligible to enter this competition.
4.Entries to be submitted via the ‘60 second storm safety check’ entry form available in Issue 10 of THE WIRE. Cut off the completed entry form and mail to Ergon Energy, Reply Paid 15107, City East Qld 4002.
5.The Competition commences 1 November 2010 and closes at 5:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard time on 11 March 2011.
6.The prize consists of 1 of 3 Canon PowerShot digital camera, or equivalent if stock is not available. Prize is to the retail value of $249.95.
7.You may enter only once. Each entry will receive a free 2011 calendar and magnetic photo frame.
8.Prize packages are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
9.The winners will be the first 3 entries selected in a random draw conducted by Ergon Energy on Tuesday 15 March 2011.
10.Winners will be notified by telephone during business hours on 15 March 2001 or the next working day, using the details provided by the winning participants with their entry.
11.Ergon Energy’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
12.Ergon Energy will not be liable for any loss, whether direct, indirect or consequential, or for personal injury, which is suffered or sustained at or in connection with this competition or use of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13.If the major prize package remains unclaimed by 30 March 2011, Ergon Energy may determine an alternative winner in order to distribute the prize.
14.All entries become the property of Ergon Energy. All entries will be entered into and remain in our database for 12 months and the entrant, by entering this competition agrees that Ergon Energy may use entrant’s names and addresses for a secondary purpose of future promotional, marketing and research and publicity purposes, subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A copy of Ergon Energy’s Privacy Policy may be found on the Ergon Energy website at ergon.com.au.
