Tourism and Libraries Committee Chairperson Councillor David Pahlke said everyone who ‘liked' the Facebook page had until February 4 to go into the draw to win an accommodation and tourism package.
"Since launching the Ipswich tourism Facebook page early this year, more than 90 people have befriended the page," he said.
"Everyone who adds the page to their own profile will be in the draw to win a two-night weekend stay at Quest Ipswich and a family pass to the Workshops Rail Museum.
"It's great to see so many people have joined the Discover Ipswich page to find out what is happening in and around our city.
"The Discover Ipswich Facebook page was created to promote Ipswich as a great place to visit and showcase the wonderful experiences we have to offer.
"During the recent flood, a number of tourist operators were closed, including the Workshops Rail Museum, Quest Ipswich and the Ipswich Antique Centre, however, all have now re-opened for business," Cr Pahlke said.
