Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. By entering the promotion, entrants accept these Conditions of Entry.
2. The promotion is known as the “AUSTAR MacBook Pro” competition.
3. The promotion commences at 06.00 (AEST) 24 January 2011 and closes 23.59 (AEST) on 1 March 2011 (“Promotional Period”).
4. Entry is only open to current AUSTAR residential customers who receive the AUSTAR service during the Promotional Period. All employees (and their immediate family) of AUSTAR, its distributors, participating outlets, external auditors, platforms and agencies connected with this promotion are not eligible for this draw.
5. To enter the draw, customers can complete the online entry form available at austar.com.au/amazing and submit it online.
6. Only one entry permitted per AUSTAR account.
7. The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of the entries and to disqualify entrants who do not comply with these terms and conditions.
8. This competition is one of random draw and the first eligible entry drawn in each draw will win. All eligible entries at time of draw will form part of the applicable random draw. The five draws will take place 3 March 2011 at 15.00 (AEST) at Mike Da Silva & Associates (Aust) P/L, 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089.
9. The winner will be notified by phone, in writing and published on the AUSTAR website at austar.com.au the week commencing 14 March 2011, and appear in The Australian newspaper 15 March 2011.
10. There will be five (5) draws and one prizewinner in each draw. Each winner will receive 1 x Apple MacBook Pro 13” 2.66GHz, valued at $1499 (RRP).
All entries received from NSW residents will be entered in Draw 1. Total value of prizes in Draw 1 is $1499
All entries received from Victorian residents will be entered in Draw 2. Total value of prizes in Draw 2 is $1499
All entries received from ACT & Tasmanian residents will be entered in Draw 3. Total value of prizes in Draw 3 is $1499
All entries received from SA & WA residents will be entered in Draw 4. Total value of prizes in Draw 4 is $1499
All entries received from NT & Queensland residents will be entered in Draw 5. Total value of prizes in Draw 5 is $1499
11. The maximum retail value of the total prize pool is $7495 (GST inclusive).
12. The promoter’s decision in all matters is final and binding.
