Toronto’s award-winning Beyond The Pale is bringing its distinctive brand of boundary-busting “Jewish-Balkan twang” to Australia for the first time.
Known for their stunning virtuosity and inventive style, Beyond The Pale has earned wide acclaim and numerous awards, including “Instrumental Ensemble of the Year” and “Pushing the Boundaries” from the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Having toured widely throughout North America and Europe, the group is coming to Australia to perform at Sydney’s Camelot Lounge on March 31; the Castlemaine State Festival on April 2 and 3; the World Music Cafe at Melbourne’s BMW Edge on April 7; and the Apollo Bay Music Festival on April 8 and 9.
The Australian Jewish News is giving away two double passes to the show on Thursday, April 7 at 7.30pm at the World Music Cafe, BMW Edge, Federation Square. The show features special guest Freydi Mrocki.
