You may be right gremlin 76.  Yesterday I got a free glossy magazine from What Tradies Want with a nice a key ring bottle opener, a very nice stuck on you sample for my granson and the rice cereal samples the day before.

Thank you to the posters for the freebies and samples. These are all quality items of use to one or other of the family.

I haven't been comping or winning much the past couple of weeks, so it was an excellent surprise to receive a WPC yesterday from a lovely lady who said she was from Rio & she had some really good news for me - I had been picked as one of 10 finalists to compete in the Rio Dash for Cash in Bondi. First we run 100 mtrs along Bondi Beach and then start digging to try and find a box containing a $20,000 cheque.

"Wow!" I thought as I started to get quite excited, but then I remembered the catch: It was Rio Underwear & I'd have to run wearing only underpants & socks. I told her I didn't know whether to be excited or scared!  Laughing

I could actually appoint a proxy to run for me & choose someone very athletic and sexy, but decided to do it myself as it'll be much funnier - my friends already find it quite hilarious  Confused (I wonder if anyone else will be as crazy as me and not appoint a proxy?  #Silly) Plus the trip & accommodation from Perth is worth about 2 grand on it's own, apparently. So I think it'll be pretty fun! And quite a bit scary!  Very Happy

Wondering if any other ACCers were picked - I noticed someone on Lottos.com was.

I thought I'd found the comp on here, but can't find a post. Therefore, thanks to everyone who posts comps on here. My life is much more enjoyable for having found you  Very Happy
Great win...I think!! It might be one of those comps I'm glad I didn't enter. I think you are very brave so the very best of luck, have a wonderful time and dig well!

Just got the call that I'm the winner of the Daily Telegraph comp for the VIP experience at Randwick racecourse tomorrow!!!!

You had to pick a name for Black Caviar's offspring and I chose White Truffles and they said they loved it.

VIP race experience in the Champagne marquee, watch the Darley TJ Smith stakes from mounting yard with trainers and owners, plus meet Peter Moody for a photo. A framed set of Black Caviar's racing silks and 3 magnums of Moet & Chandon champagne

I think that the racing silks might have previously belonged to a rider.
