General
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into “Oovie’s DVD Dating Service” Entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2. The promotion commences on April 4, 2011. Entries close at 11.59pm (AEST) May 3, 2011.
3. Entry is only open to residents of Australia who are Oovie® users (Eligible Entrants). Employees and family members of the Promoter, agencies or companies associated with the Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
4. Entry is only open to person over the age of 18 years
How to Enter
5. To enter the Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must e-mail their first name, age, gender, sexual orientation, location and DVD preferences to:

6. The Promoter will add Eligible Entrants to the Oovie DVD Dating database
7. Eligible Entrants who display similar movie tastes, are of a similar age, have the same sexual preference, and live in the same geographical area will be matched by the Promoter
8. The Promoter will notify Eligible Entrants of a potential DVD Dating match via email. The email will give an overview of their potential match and ask if they would like to be introduced via email
9. If both parties agree to the match, the Promoter will introduce each Eligible Entrant over email
10. All matching decisions come at the sole discretion of the Promoter
11. Oovie® will announce all couples who are introduced over email via Oovie’s DVD Dating Service on their Facebook page (
www.facebook.com/pages/oovie/260015964179?ref=ts). Only Entrants first names and geographical local will be announced on Facebook.
Prizes
12. One free Oovie DVD rental code will be given to every couple who is introduced over email by Oovie’s DVD Dating Service. Each code is valued at $2.99.

- Each Promo Code will be valid from Monday 4th April to Wednesday 4th may 2011.
- Each Promo Code is valid at any Oovie machine operating in VIC, NSW, QLD, TAS & ACT. For a full list of Oovie locations visit: oovie.com.au
- Winners must be able to provide a valid credit card upon transaction at the Oovie Machine to redeem their Free Overnight DVD Rental.
- The user must enter the Promo Code by pressing the 'Enter Promo Code' button on the checkout screen PRIOR to swiping credit card.
- Winners must return the DVD by 9pm the day after it is rented or the user will be charged an additional rental fee of $2.99 for each additional night.,
- After 14 days, if a DVD has not been returned, the user will be charged $36 and the DVD is theirs to keep.
- The DVD Dating Promo Codes can not be used in conjunction with any other promotion offered by Oovie.
13. Prize value is correct at time of print. Prizes are not transferable, not exchangeable, cannot be taken for cash and are not valid with any other offer.
14. All prices stated are in Australian dollars and include GST. All references to times and dates are to times and dates in Sydney, NSW Australia.
15. In the event that any Eligible Entrant does not claim his or her Prize (ie, use the free oovie rental code) within 30 days of written notice being given, the prize will become invalid
16. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for another item, in its sole discretion, of an equal or greater recommended retail value.
Indemnity
17. If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the terms of the Promotion including the Prizes and these Conditions of Entry, subject to the approval (if required by law) of any relevant government authority.
18. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with the Competition will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of entering the Competition or receiving, accepting or using any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
19. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for:
a. Lost, late, stolen, damaged or misdirected mail.
b. Any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any Entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise;
c. Any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of such communications as listed in points a & b above;
d. Any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Promotion;
e. Any incorrect or incomplete information that may be communicated in the course of the administering this Promotion.
20. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with the Competition accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought & is at the cost of the Prize Winner.
21. All claims and entries become the property of Oovie®. Each entrant agrees to do all things requested by Oovie® to ensure that the intellectual property rights in and to his or her entries become the property of the Oovie® and to provide all consents necessary or requested by Oovie®.
22. Oovie® may use the information an entrant provides for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and in any media for further promotional, marketing and publicity purposes unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
23. Oovie® may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents who assist it in conducting the Promotion, communicating with entrants and conducting promotional, marketing and publicity activities. Oovie® is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
24. The Promoter is Oovie® Pty Ltd, ABN 16113727450, of Level 50, 680 George Street Sydney, NSW 2000.
