Free RSA or RCG Offer - Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply only to the booking, attendance and delivery of the Free RSA and RCG courses. Either one free RSA course or one free RCG course is offered with any Bar Skills, Cocktail Skills or Food Safety Supervisor Course (FSS) that has been booked and paid for.
The date for commencement of this offer is 23rd April 2011.
The last date for booking and paying for the course is 1st June 2011 with the offer concluding on this date or after all 200 FREE courses have been allocated, whichever comes first.
Whilst you may book to attend courses after the 1st June 2011 all courses must be attended by 30 June 2011. No extension of time will be allowed beyond this date.
This offer applies only to the delivery of courses at our Sydney (Broadway) venue.
This offer applies only to the first 200 bookings taken for either RSA or RCG after the date for commencement of the offer and will only be provided to accompany either a Bar skills course or cocktail skills course or a Food Safety Supervisor course (purchased at our normal advertised pre-paid rate) as offered by BarMax Australia.
Students booking into the Bar Skills, Cocktail Skills or FSS course can enrol an alternative individual into the FREE RSA or RCG course, however once booked, the person listed on the enrolment cannot be changed.
The Free RSA or RCG booking will be taken only after the associated Bar Course, Cocktail Course or Food Safety Supervisor course has been booked and paid for using the Promotional Code provided by BarMax Australia.
Courses must be booked prior to attendance as course numbers for this offer are limited to 200 Free RSA or RCG Courses.
This Free offer applies only to courses held at specific dates and times. BarMax reserves the right to nominate when the Free RSA or RCG may be taken.
Limited places for the Free RSA or RCG courses apply to those nominated dates.
Bookings are made by phone and the conditions of sale must be accepted at the time of booking.
Payment
Course fees must be paid and received in our account a minimum of 48 hrs before the course(s). Forms of pre-payment include: Credit card - MasterCard or Visa Only or American Express (3% surcharge will apply). Cash / Credit Card / EFTPOS to Broadway office only. NB: No cheques accepted
If you provide a mobile number as a contact, you will be sent an SMS the day before the first course. Whilst every endeavour will be made to contact you, we accept no liability should you not be available to receive our call or message if the contact details provided are incorrect or if the SMS service provider fails to forward the message.
The last date for booking and payment is 5 pm on 1st June 2011.
Validity Period
Your courses once book and paid, must be taken on the dates nominated. No changes for dates, times or venues are permitted and NO REFUNDS PROVIDED ONCE PAID.
Packaged discounts are not applicable to this offer. If additional courses are required the normal single course rates will apply. No other promotion or discounted offer may be used in conjunction with this offer.
Refunds Policy
Barmax does not offer refunds once the course fees are paid.
Lateness and Non-Attendance
Any attendee who is more than 10 minutes late to the course start time specified in the booking will not be allowed entry into the course and the monies paid for the course will be forfeited. (Refer to our web for course start time).
Students are provided with breaks throughout the course. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late from the allocated break will be refused re-entry to that course and must arrange to re-sit the entire course (subject to availability) at their cost
Re-Scheduling and Transfers
Course bookings made under the terms of this promotional offer (including the RSA, RCG, Bar Skills, Cocktail Skills or FSS) may not be re-scheduled or transferred to any other party after the initial booking.
Once the booking is paid for, if the person who is booked into the course cannot attend at the time and date agreed at the time of the booking, then their course fees and place are forfeited.
Failure to Complete
If the attendee is found by assessment to be 'Not Yet Competent'(failed) at the conclusion of the training and assessment, then the attendee may if they choose re enrol but at their own cost and at normal advertised rates or if places permit under the
FREE RSA or RCG promotional offer once a Bar skills or Cocktail skills or FSS course is booked and paid for.
Attendees who commence the training course but for any reason are unable to complete their training, will be deemed 'Not Yet Competent'

Cancellation of Course
Barmax reserves the right to cancel any courses without prior notice. However every reasonable endeavour is taken to notify our customers as soon as practical should unforeseen circumstances force the cancellation of a course.
Refusal of Entry
Barmax reserves the right to refuse entry or request students to leave or be removed if in breach of certain terms and conditions, or if being objectionable to other students for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to;
failure to provide current Photo ID (driver's license, Proof of Age Card, passport, Photo Card or Student Card)
failure to adhere to BarMax’s dress requirement (see section below)
disturbing, causing discomfort, threatening the safety and security of/to other students, staff, patrons or the property of the provider or the venue
if the student is under the influence of alcohol or non prescription drugs
if breaching the laws of the Commonwealth or State.
The provider is not liable for any loss which the student incurs as a result.
Dress Requirements
Bar skills and Cocktail courses require as a PREREQUISITE for entry, the wearing of enclosed shoes. Eg; thongs and sandals are not permitted and will cause the student to leave the class immediately. In the event that the student misses a class as a result of a failure to have the appropriate footwear they forfeit their booking.
We encourage the wearing of all black attire for the practical Bar skills course, but this is NOT a prerequisite.
Valid Identification
All students attending an Barmax course must present on entry to each course current valid photo ID (driver's license, Proof of Age Card, passport, Photo Card or Student Card)
For cocktail courses all student must be 18 years of age or older.
