Any purchase you make in store this May will generate an entry form. A winner will be drawn on the 27 May 2011. Imagine what you could do with $5000 at the Glasshouse in one day. How to Enter
1.To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any product from any retailer of the Glasshouse Shopping Centre between 02/05/11 and 5:00pm Local time on 27/05/11 ("Promotional Period").
2.To enter, entrants must then fully complete the official original entry form received at time of purchase and place it in the entry box provided in store on Level 4 during the Promotional Period.
Terms and Conditions
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion.
3.Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter (Perpetual Trustee Company Ltd), participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5.Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6.Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per purchase; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
7.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
8.Promotion commences on Monday 2nd May 2011 and ends at close of business on Friday 27th May 2011. Entries close at 5pm local time on Friday 27th May 2011.
9.A draw will take place at Glasshouse Management Office on Level 7, 135 King Street on 27/05/11 at 5:30pm local time. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing and the winner will have their name published on the Glasshouse website (
www.glasshouseshopping.com.au) on the date of the draw and in The Sydney Morning Herald within a month of the draw date.
10.The winner will be notified:
a) by telephone after 9.00 am on 30 May 2011 (for those entrants who have only provided a telephone number): and/or
b) by email on 30 May 2011 (for those entrants who have provided an email address)
11.In addition to the above, the Winner will be published in The Sydney Morning Herald newspaper within a month of the draw date.
12.The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.The Winner and the Promoter will organize the date for the $5,000 spend to be on a weekday that suits the Winner within one month of the draw date (by 30 June 2011). This date is titled ‘the Prize Collection Day.’
14.The prize will be collected by the Winner and a representative of the Promoter going to retail outlets in the Glasshouse on the Prize Collection Day and collecting/ordering goods and services up to $5,000.
15.The Prize Collection Day is one day between 10am – 4pm. The Winner has one day in which to collect or order all products and services up to $5,000.
16.Total prize pool valued at approximately AUS $5,000.
17.Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable, unless otherwise specified.
18.When you submit any materials via the Promotion including comments, recordings and images ("Content"), the entrant, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. The entrant agrees not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use. The entrant warrants that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
19.Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
20.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
21.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking of a prize.
22.The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
23.The Entrants acknowledge that some or all of the contents contained in the prize may contain nuts or contain traces of nuts, may not be gluten free and may contain any other allergy causing ingredient. It is the Entrants sole responsibility to satisfy his or herself and make his or her own enquiries in relation to the ingredients contained in the contents of the Prize. The Promoter or any of its related entities or agencies will not be liable in any way whatsoever in relation to any loss or damage however caused in relation to this Promotion including any allergic reactions or health issues caused from the ingredients contained in the contents of the Prize.
24.The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
