Help- how do you get your quote to be in the grey box.  When I cut and paste its just white not highlighted.

Help- how do you get your quote to be in the grey box.  When I cut and paste its just white not highlighted.

You click the quote button of the post you wish to quote.. or type {quote author=Username} quote {/quote}
Change the {and } to [ and ] if i didn't have different brackets it would quote instead of showing you.

The quote button is the one on the bottom near the right that looks like this -

I do it a different way. I highlight with the mouse the sentence I want higlighted then click the Quote button It appears in the quick reply box at the bottom, then you just write what you want after that!
