I thought it was too cold to ride in winter until I moved to Brisbane. Next I complained it was too far to cycle home from work before seeing that OMG bike race on the telly. Finally I convinced myself it was just too unsafe to cycle our roads at night. Now my lazy ass is out of excuses.
Fibre Flare lights aren’t your old fashioned LED blinkers. No, m’am! You can now rejoice that somebody stole those from your fixie. These are more akin to something the Hacienda kids would tie to their treadlies in the eighties. Locally designed, they emit a non-stop glow and the unique all angle illumination means they’re definitely the lights to buy if you want to be seen. Only a blind man could run you over with a pair of these*!
Available in a range of colours, apparently these are all the rage in Tokyo. Heck, maybe the next Fast’n’Furious movie will be about treadlies? Surely they’ve run out of ideas by now?!
