"Win a $500 holiday accommodation voucher with Gold Coast Holiday Homes" Competition Terms & Conditions
1) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.
2) Entry is open only to all residents worldwide.
3) Employees and directors (and their immediate families) of Gold Coast Holiday Homes and DJ Stringer Property Services (jointly, the “Promoters”) and landlords of properties managed by Gold Coast Holiday Homes are ineligible to enter. Immediate family refers to any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, common law spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first (1st) cousin.
4) The competition commences at 9.00am (AEST) on Wednesday 1 August 2011 and closes on Friday 23rd December 2011 at 11:59pm (AEST) (“the promotional period”).
5) To enter, entrants must register their first name, surname and email address on the entrants tab on the front page of the Gold Coast Holiday Homes web-site. One winner will be drawn by the Promoter on the basis of a random draw selection. The Promoter’s decision will be final, and no appeals will be taken. The winner will be notified by email or phone call.
6) Each customer is entitled to one entry per Gold Coast Holiday Home registration.
7) The Prize is a $500 Gold Coast Holiday Homes accommodation voucher (the “Prize”). The Prize: valid for accommodation costs on the selection of holiday properties managed by Gold Coast Holiday Homes up until the 23rd December 2012. All other costs related to the recipients travel expenses i.e. Return flights, travel insurance, additional travel expenses and meals etc. are all at the recepients expense.
The Prize may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.
10) The Prize must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible and prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Prize is not refundable.
11) The Promoter and each of their related bodies corporate, and their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
12) By entering the competition, you agree to receive promotional and special promotional material from Gold Coast Holiday Homes via email, phone or post.
13) Each entrant to the Competition unconditionally consents to the Promoter’s use of the personal information of the entrant including without limitation the name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event the entrant is a winner in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), disclosure to authorized third parties, including, but not limited to, and for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Each entrant should request if he or she would like to access, update or correct information held by the Gold Coast Holiday Homes and DJ Stringer Property Services.
14) Where there is a conflict, contradiction or discrepancy between the terms contained in these Terms & Conditions, the Gold Coast Holiday Homes terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of the product and/or service purchased, the terms and conditions shall prevail in descending order of precedence: (a) the terms and conditions of the product and/or service purchased; (b) these Terms & Conditions and (c) the Gold Coast Holiday Homes terms and conditions.
15) If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right and the sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by the law (a) to disqualify any entrant; (b) to modify, amend, supplement or change any of the Terms & Conditions and/or (c) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition as appropriate.
16) These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.
