What's more, I won't be able to collect until next week!... I'm doing a great 9-6pm 5-day workshop with this guy. SO exciting! That's MY win for the YEAR!!!

If it was frm the Sit Down Comedy Club then you may have entered for another prize (like DVDs).  They seem to give "Winning Tickets" to their poorer selling shows.  I have won 2 or 3 times since being on their mailing list.  Haven't yet turned up to claim them

Also had a missed call on my phone from a Newcastle based number and I don't know anyone in Newcastle so that is giving me a little frisson of excitement.

One of those Hunter Valley based wineclub companies perhaps?  They get you rnumber once you have provided to the Aus Post Lifestyle Survey (and perhaps from elsewhere).  If you call back and there is nothing then it is them.

yeah i was stupid enough to do the australia post lifestyle survey last time and had everyone and his dog ring me up trying to get me to donate money or buy something.  Never again will i fill that stupid thing in ever again
