To be eligible to Bid, Bidders must register on The Good Guys Facebook page during the Promotion period of Wednesday 28th September 2011 at 9am AEDST and Friday 30th September 2011 at 9pm AEDST (inclusive)
There will be 12 Products in the Bargain Hunt Reverse Auction (Promotion”) as noted in the table below with 4 product auctioned per day. The winner of the reverse auction will be eligible to purchase the item at their winning bid amount. At the conclusion of the auction, the lowest unique bid will win. Only one bid per person, per product is permitted. The lowest unique bid is the amount that is above $0.00 and the only bid at that amount. Bids will be time stamped in the database and must be in denominations of 50 cents or more.

Winners of each auction will be notified at 8am the following morning by email. Winning bidders must collect their goods from their nearest The Good Guys store and pay the winning bid price within 14 days thereafter.
The auction is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. However, employees of The Good Guys and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to participate.
The Reverse Auction commences daily a Wednesday 28th September 2011. The Promotion concludes on Friday 30th September 2011.
The Promoter reserves the right to request claimants to provide such proof of identity; age and proof of residency as considered suitable at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries not received by the Promoter or delays due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
Products cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
If the products are unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the product for a product of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the auction, if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the auction.
The winners will be notified via their registered email address.
Prizes will only be awarded to the account holder of the nominated address used to submit their claim. The winner will therefore be, in each case, the account holder.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the claimant’s responsibility to notify the promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in a claim should be directed to the promoter.
The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not claim into correspondence regarding the Promotion result.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the claimant must comply with all the conditions of use of the promoter’s requirements.
The promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
The Good Guys and their subsidiaries and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications; line failure; theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of claims, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the claim process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
