I can't believe it and am still pinching myself - 3 yrs of comping and I've finally cracked the big one - an overseas trip!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a ski trip for two to Canada courtesy of the Canadian Tourism Commission's Winterscope competition on FB. When I saw the email in my Inbox I kept telling myself "It's a scam, it's a scam" and refused to get excited but have checked through it all and it looks I am, by some freak occurrence, the major prize winner! You had to say in 100WOL why you wanted to visit Canada and my answer was:
C - razy fun in the snow with crazy Canadians!
A - wfully friendly people, just like Australians!
N - icer than Americans and cuter accents!
A - lways wanted to visit, too many reasons to list!
D - ollar goes further - spend, spend, spend!
A-lways promised the kids we'd take them to the snow, where better than Canada?
So it goes to show that simple answers can win great prizes! Still can't believe I won, it's too surreal! Am hoping to take my husband & kids if they let me pay extra. And we have never ski'd & my kids have never been to skifields!
