1. Instructions and information on how to enter the promotion form part of these terms and
conditions, and entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and
conditions.
2. The promoter is Golden Casket Lottery Corporation Limited, ABN 27 078 785 449, 87
Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba QLD 4102, Phone 131 868 (Promoter). The Promoter and
its related companies are referred to as the Promoter Group.
3. The promotion will be conducted from 11:00:01pm AEST on 30th September 2011 until
11:00pm AEST on 31th October 2011 (Promotion Period).
4. Entry to the promotion is free and is open to residents of Queensland, Tasmania and the
Northern Territory, who are 18 years of age or older and who are a Scratch eClub Member in
the Promotion Period, and do not cease to be a Scratch eClub Member at any time during
the Promotion Period or up to the date of the Draw. The following are not eligible to enter
the promotion: employees of the Promoter Group who are directly involved with the Scratch
eClub (including with a draw for this promotion), and agents of the Promoter and employees
of those agents.
5. If you enter the:

(b) October Promo Month of the “Scratch eClub – October, November & December 2011

with a valid and non-winning Golden Casket $2 Island Dreams Instant Scratch-Its ticket
(ticket number Q602), you will automatically be entered into this promotion. All entries
become the property of the Promoter. Each valid and non-winning Golden Casket $2 Island
Dreams Instant Scratch-Its ticket (ticket number Q602) will only be entered into this
promotion once.
6. There are a total of two (2) Prizes to be won for this promotion. Each Prize (“Prize”) has a
retail value of $1,276.00 excluding the component set out in clause 8 (if applicable).
7. Each Prize is a voucher for a holiday to Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island (Queensland,
Australia), which comprises:
(a) Two (2) nights twin share hotel accommodation for two (2) adults at the Kingfisher Bay
Resort;
(b) Passenger walk on transfers from Kingfisher Bay’s Mainland Reception at River Heads
Shopping Centre near Hervey Bay to Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island by barge;
(c) Beauty Spots Day Tour departing from Kingfisher Bay Resort for two (2) adults
including lunch; and
(d) If the holiday is taken during the whale watching season, that is, 1 August 2012 to 31
October 2012, a whale watching cruise for two (2) adults. If the holiday is taken other
than during the whale watching season, another tour may be substituted at the
Promoter’s discretion.

8. If the Prize winner resides more than 300km (as the crow flies) from the Kingfisher Bay
Mainland Reception (at Shop 7/54 River Heads Shopping Village, River Heads Road,
River Heads QLD 4655), the Promoter may, at the Promoter’s absolute discretion, cover part
or all of the transport costs for travel between a point of departure near the Prize winner’s
residence and the Kingfisher Bay Mainland Reception. The method of transport will be at the
Promoter’s discretion and may be by bus, train or other means.
9. The following terms and conditions apply to each Prize:
(a) The voucher described in clause 7 is subject to its own terms and conditions including
ones stipulated by Kingfisher Bay Resort. These will be set out on the voucher itself
and will be in addition to these terms and conditions.
(b) The entire Prize must be booked and taken in full before 16 November 2012 and if for
any reason the Prize winner is unable to use the Prize before this date, the Prize will
expire and the Prize winner’s right to the Prize will be forfeited and no compensation will
be payable nor will a replacement prize be offered or available;
(c) The Prize cannot be taken in part or changed from what is stated for the voucher in
clause 7;
(d) The Prize cannot be taken during Queensland school holiday periods, public holidays or
long weekends, and is also subject to availability;
(e) Travel costs, other than those mentioned in clauses 7 and 8 (such as travel between
the Prize winner’s residence and point of departure, and parking charges if the winner
travels by car) are not included;
(f) Apart from those mentioned in clause 7, no other meals are included;
(g) Travel insurance is not included; and
(h) Any costs for insurances and any applicable insurance excesses, other taxes, excess
baggage, in-transport meals and entertainment, ancillary hotel costs such as mini bar,
internet or laundry, fees for altering bookings and any other costs not included in clause
7 are the responsibility of the Prize winner and his or her travelling companion.
10. The winning entries will be drawn randomly by computer on 9th November 2011 (Draw) at
87 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba, Queensland. The first two (2) valid entries drawn will
each win one Prize subject to those entrants:
(a) producing to the Promoter when requested the original Golden Casket $2 Island
Dreams Instant Scratch-Its ticket (ticket number Q602) containing the SYS CODE
relating to that entry;
(b) producing to the Promoter when requested photo identification or other identification
acceptable to the Promoter which confirms that the entrant is over 18 years of age; and
(c) completing a statutory declaration signed by a Justice of the Peace confirming details
about the entrant and their entry.
11. The Promoter's decision as to the result of the Draw is final and no correspondence will be
entered into.
12. The Promoter will attempt to notify the Prize winners within 14 days after the date of the
Draw using the contact details recorded in their Scratch eClub Membership. The Promoter
may also announce or publish the initials and suburb or town of the Prize winners in any
media, including the Promoter's website.
13. The right to a Prize is not transferable or assignable to another person.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw a Prize in the event that a winner of a Prize forfeits
or fails to accept their Prize. If a Prize winner:
(a) is unable to be contacted within 3 months after the date of the Draw then that person's
right to the Prize is forfeited and the Prize will be entered into an unclaimed prize draw,
whereby the Promoter may conduct such further draws (at the same place as the
original Draw) as are necessary on 15th February 2012 in order to distribute the
unclaimed Prize, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, subject to
any directions given by a responsible authority under any relevant regulation; or
(b) expressly forfeits their right to a Prize prior to the date of expiry of the Prize (stated in
clause 9(b)), the Promoter may conduct such further draws (at the same place as the
original Draw) as are necessary in order to distribute the forfeited Prize and will do so
as soon as is practicable after a Prize winner has formally forfeited their right to the
Prize, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, subject to any directions
given by a responsible authority under any relevant regulation; and
these Terms and Conditions (including all terms and conditions applying to a Prize) apply to
a winner of a redraw for a Prize just as if they were a winner of the original Draw, however
the winner of a redraw will only be entitled to the Prize as it stands and remains at the date
of the redraw (for example, the expiry date for a Prize will remain as stated in clause 9(b)).
15. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of an entry or disqualify any
entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or
who tampers with the entry process. The decision to verify, validate or disqualify an entry is
in the Promoter's absolute discretion.
16. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not
responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer system, software or
Internet difficulties, including any damage to an entrant's computer, resulting from
participation in the promotion. Any cost associated with accessing or submitting an entry are
the entrant's responsibility.
17. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or
sustained in relation to the promotion or the Prize, or as a result of the promotion or events
that flow from or occur as a result of the taking of the Prize, except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
18. If the Promoter is prevented from or delayed in performing an obligation by Force Majeure
then the obligation is suspended during, but for no longer than, the period the Force Majeure
continues and any further period that is reasonable in the circumstances. "Force Majeure"
means an event beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, which occurs without the
fault or negligence of the Promoter.
19. Subject to obtaining the approval from the regulator (if applicable), the Promoter reserves the
right to delay or modify any aspect of this promotion if for any reason it is not capable of
running as planned (including without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus,
bugs, tampering, fraud, technical failures, power failures or due to any other causes
unforeseen or beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion) but only to the
extent necessary to overcome the issue that is affecting the running of the promotion as
planned.
20. By participating in the promotion, an entrant authorises the Promoter Group, and contractors
and agents of the Promoter Group, to access, collect and use personal information about the
entrant, and disclose personal information about the entrant, to the Promoter Group and its
contractors and agents, for the purposes of (i) conducting the promotion and (ii) providing the
entrant with information about products and services of the Promoter Group. Such
information may be provided electronically, or by contacting the entrant by telephone or other
means, until such time as the entrant asks the Promoter not to provide further information. A
Prize winner may be asked by the Promoter to participate in publicity associated with the

promotion. The Prize winner will have the right to elect whether or not to participate in that
publicity.
21. If an entrant does not provide the personal information requested, the entrant cannot
participate in the promotion and will not receive information about products and services of
the Promoter Group. An entrant can request access to information held about them by

22. All references to time in these terms and conditions are a reference to Australian Eastern
