The V8 Supercars are returning to the streets of the Gold Coast from 21 to 23 October. For your chance to win Russell Ingalls very own race helmet, as worn by the Enforcer over the race weekend, PLUS a trip for two to the Gold Coast, tune into Channel Seven’s coverage of the ArmorAll Gold Coast 600. “SUPERCHEAP AUTO – V8 SUPERCAR VIEWER” PROMOTION
HOW TO ENTER
1. To be eligible to enter, individuals must watch one of the following V8 Supercar events:
o The Adelaide Event (SA) – 17/03/11 to 20/03/11;
o The Barbagello Event (WA) – 29/04/11 to 01/05/11;
o The Townsville Event (QLD) – 08/07/11 to 10/07/11;

o The Gold Coast Event (QLD) – 21/10/11 to 23/10/11; or
o The Sydney Event (NSW) – 02/12/11 to 04/12/11.
2. To enter, individuals must then visit www.supercheapauto.com, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details (including the name of the winning driver for Race 1 and Race 2 of the relevant V8 Supercar event) and submit the fully completed entry form during the applicable promotional period, as specified below:
o The Adelaide Event (SA) – Entries open 19/03/11. Entries close 11:59pm AEDST on 25/03/11;
o The Barbagello Event (WA) – Entries open 30/04/11. Entries close 11:59pm AEST on 06/05/11;
o The Townsville Event (QLD) – Entries open 09/07/11. Entries close 11:59pm AEST on 15/07/11;

o The Gold Coast Event (QLD) – Entries open 22/10/11. Entries close 11:59pm AEDST on 28/10/11; or
o The Sydney Event (NSW) – Entries open 03/12/11. Entries close 11:59pm AEDST on 09/12/11.
3. All entrants that select the winning driver for Race 1 and Race 2 of the applicable V8 Supercars event will be entered into the relevant prize draw for that V8 Supercars event.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-

grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant‟s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Entrants must correctly name the winner of Race 1 and Race 2 of the applicable V8 Supercars event to be entered into the relevant prize draw.
6. There is a limit of one entry per person and per email address for each V8 Supercars event (i.e. a maximum of five (5) entries per person and per email address permitted in total).
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
8. The draws will take place at Unit 10, 20 Ricketty Street, Mascot NSW 2020 at 3pm on the following dates:
o The Adelaide Event (SA) – 28/03/11;
o The Barbagello Event (WA) – 12/05/11;
o The Townsville Event (QLD) – 18/07/11;
o The Gold Coast Event (QLD) – 31/10/11; and
o The Sydney Event (NSW) – 12/12/11.
9. All winners will be notified in writing. Winners will also be published in The Australian on the following dates:
o The Adelaide Event (SA) – 31/03/11;
o The Barbagello Event (WA) – 19/05/11;
o The Townsville Event (QLD) – 21/07/11;
o The Gold Coast Event (QLD) – 03/11/11; and
o The Sydney Event (NSW) – 15/12/11.
10. The Promoter‟s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The first valid entry drawn in each prize draw will win: (a) a „one of a kind‟ signed racing helmet, as worn by Russell Ingall during a V8 Supercars race (valued at $3,000); and (b) a trip for two (2) adults to the Gold Coast (valued at up to $4,800 depending on the winner‟s date and point of departure). The prize is valued at up to $7,800 in total.
The holiday prize includes the following:

o Return economy airfares from the winner‟s nearest capital city (for any winners from Australia) or from the closest of Auckland or Christchurch (for any winners from New Zealand) to the Gold Coast;
o All airport and airline taxes;
o Two (2) nights, four-star accommodation at the Mantra Legends Hotel;
o Breakfast daily at the Mantra Legends Hotel;
o A 12-lap V8 Super School experience;
o A hot-lap with Russell Ingall; and
o A tour of the Supercheap Auto Racing Headquarters.
The holiday prize must be taken between 30/04/11 and 30/12/12, subject to booking and flight availability and subject to Russell Ingall‟s availability. The winners from draws 1 – 4 must book their prize at least a month before they wish to travel. The winner from draw 5 must book their prize by 31/12/11 (for travel no later than 30/12/12). Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays, public holidays or other peak periods.
Spending money, additional meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.
The winner (and his/her companion) must have a valid driver‟s licence in order to take part in the 12-lap V8 Super School experience.
12. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Winners may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
13. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
14. Each winner acknowledges that motor racing is a dangerous activity, which may result in injury or death, and the winner and his/her companion participate at their own risk. The winner and his/her companion: (a) must attend, undergo and pass any appropriate training, briefings, safety demonstrations, required medical tests and other requirements (including blood alcohol testing) of the Promoter and the prize supplier as determined by them in their absolute discretion; (b) must declare to the Promoter or the prize supplier any health-related issues that may affect their safe participation in the prize and obtain a written clearance from their doctor in this respect; (c) must not have any heart condition or history thereof, or other medical conditions that would make it dangerous to participate in any element of the prize; (d) must not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol; (e) must comply with all directions of the Promoter, the prize supplier, any nominated driver and race officials; and (f) must wear all safety and other equipment required. The Promoter and the prize supplier in their absolute discretion: (a) reserve the

right to refuse to allow the winner or his/her companion to take part in any or all aspects of the prize if they reasonably believe the winner or his/her companion pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and (b) may cancel any element of the prize if the conditions are deemed dangerous. If the prize is varied for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter it may not be rescheduled and in which case, no compensation will be offered.
15. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not redeem the prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
16. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
17. Total prize pool value is up to $39,000.
18. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
19. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place at the same time and place as the original draws, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority on 22/03/12.
Any winners will be notified in writing. Winners will also be published in The Australian on 29/03/12
20. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
22. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant‟s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
23. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in

the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
24. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter‟s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the appearance of Russell Ingall is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) taking of the prize.
25. As a condition of accepting the prize, each winner (and his/her companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
26. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
27. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
