For every $30 you spend in Macquarie Centre you are entitled to one entry form. To collect your entry form/s you need to present your receipt/s at the Customer Service Centre located on Level 3 or an entry point located in the centre. You need to complete the entry form/s in detail and place into the entry barrels in centre. One daily prize will be drawn, each day, from Tuesday 11 October until Wednesday 16 November, 2011. “MACQUARIE CENTRE 30th BIRTHDAY” PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.
Entry into the promotion is open to all residents of Australia excluding retail tenants in participating AMP Capital Shopping Centre and their immediate family, and staff of retail tenants in the participating shopping centres and their immediate family, the proprietors and staff of companies involved in the production, publishing and administration of this promotion and their immediate family. Immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents. Tenants means Lessees, Licensees and in the case of a corporation, their directors.
3.
Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion.
4.
Promotion commences at 09:00am on 10/10/2011 and entries close at 5:00pm AEDST on 17/11/2011(“Promotional Period”).
5.
To be eligible to enter, individuals must spend $30.00 or more in one (1) day at any retailer in Macquarie Centre (“Qualifying Purchase”). For each $30 amount spent in centre an individual is entitled to one (1) entry form. Individuals can spend in multiples of $30 and receive corresponding number of entries. i.e. $60, equates to two entries, $90 equates to three entries. The spend amount will be rounded down to the nearest $30 spend.
6.
Purchase receipts can only be used once. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
7.
To enter, individuals must then, during the Promotional Period, complete the official entry form located at Customer Service Centre (Level 3) and at promotional locations in centre and place in the entry boxes provided.
8.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
9.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
10.
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per specified Qualifying Purchase; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements;
11.
Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. The winner will be required to produce receipt(s) before receiving the prize.
12.
As part of the promotion there is daily prize draws, commencing on Tuesday 11 October 2011 and concluding on Wednesday 16 November 2011. Daily prize draws will take at the Promoter’s Office Corner Waterloo and Herring Roads, North Ryde NSW 2113 at 3pm AEDST each day.
The daily prize list and schedule is as per the table. The first valid entry drawn will receive the corresponding prize as per the date of the draw.

The draw for the Major Prizes will take place at the Promoter’s place of business (Centre Court), Corner Waterloo and Herring Roads, North Ryde NSW 2113 on 17/11/2011 at 6.30pm AEDST. Winner will be notified by mail and the winner’s name will be on the Macquarie Centre’s website, Macquarie Centre’s Facebook page and printed in The Australian Newspaper on 24/11/2011. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The first valid entry drawn will win a Hyundai i30, 1.6 petrol SX model with manual transmission in non metallic paint. The prize includes government statutory registration, stamp duty & CTP for NSW registration. Does not include comprehensive insurance or any non standard features or accessories. The vehicle is valued at $18,990.
14.
The second valid entry drawn will win $10,000. The prize will be presented in a cheque or direct deposited into the winner’s nominated bank account.
15.
The third valid entry drawn will win a home entertainment package including a 55 inch Samsung D8000 TV Full high definition, 3D, smart TV, a surround sound system Samsung HTD6750, Pure AV surge protection, 2 HDMI cables, delivery & installation from JB Hi-Fi valued at $5,069.
16.
Total prize pool value is $36,849.54. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.
17.
A draw for the prizes, if unclaimed, may take place on 24/02/2012 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner’s name will be published in The Australian on 03/03/2012.
18.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
19.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Macquarie Centre accepts no responsibility or liability for any costs associated with the use of the prize other than the ones listed as part of the prize.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
22.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or
