WA's largest and most awarded winery, Houghton, marks a rare milestone in winemaking history when it turns 175 this month. Join in the celebrations at Houghton's 175th Anniversary Open Day on Sunday, November 13 at its original Swan Valley winery.
This FREE EVENT will take place across the sprawling greens of Houghton, amongst flowering Jacaranda trees and heritage buildings, featuring a great line-up of entertainment for the whole family.
Enjoy live music, guided tours, wine blending and tastings, historic exhibitions, animal farm, vintage cars, prize giveaways and while you're there say hi to the 96fm Street Team! See how wine was made in the early days or take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. Discover the colourful history of the Swan Valley and of Houghton - one of Australia's first and finest winemaking pioneers.
