The Thick Of It is a British comedy series that satirises the behind-the-scenes workings of the government; a kind of cross between Yes Minister and The West Wing. Since 2005 it has viciously deconstructed politics, and featured some of the most inventive swearing you’ll hear on television thanks to a particularly foul-mouthed Scottish communications director.
