Terms & Conditions
Instructions on how to claim the bonus offer form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Panasonic Full-HD Camcorder promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotion involving Panasonic products.
The Promotion begins on 1 October 2011 and ends at 11.59pm AEDST on 31 December 2011 (“Promotion Period”). All claims and proof of purchase must be received by 11.59pm (AEDST) on 21 January 2012.
The Promoter shall use all reasonable efforts to ensure that all approved claims will be fulfilled by registered post within 28 days from the time the redemption is validated. The Promoter accepts no responsibility should the delivery take longer than 28 days for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
This Promotion is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and above. Employees and directors of the Promoter, the Promoter’s related companies or any agencies involved in this Promotion, and the immediate families of each of those persons are eligible to participate in this Promotion provided that they purchase a new Participating Product (as defined below).
Claimants must purchase and pay in full for one of the following Panasonic Full High Definition (“Full-HD”) Camcorder models, as specified below, from an authorised Panasonic participating retailer during the Promotion Period to be eligible to receive a bonus offer with purchase. Bonus offers vary depending on the camcorder purchased. Details on participating camcorder models ("Participating Products"). and associated bonus offers are:

Stock in each participating retailer is subject to availability and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check stock availability with the authorised Panasonic participating retailer.
Claimants who purchase a Participating Product during the Promotion Period are entitled to submit a claim for the bonus offer in accordance with Item 5.
All successful claimants who have purchased one or more of the above listed models will receive one of three bonus offers available, depending on the model purchased. One bonus offer will be received per camcorder, subject to validation of claim.
The value of the bonus offers is a guide only and is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any discrepancy in bonus offer value.
The bonus offer is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as or redeemed for cash.
Claimants must follow the claim process below in order to obtain their bonus offer:
a) To claim, individuals must register their purchase online by visiting
www.panasonic.com.au/camcorderbonus and completing the bonus offer claim form, by inputting the requested details including their full name, postal address, valid email address, camcorder model number from their product purchased, store of purchase, and date of purchase
b) Claimants must then print off their online claim form, or make record of their unique claim ID, and mail both the online claim form and a copy of their purchase receipt, or their purchase receipt copy with claim ID written on it, to PANASONIC CAMCORDER PROMOTION, PO BOX 919 BROOKVALE NSW 2100. All claims and proof of purchase must be received by 11.59pm (AEDST) on 21 January 12.
c) Claimants will then receive an email from the Promoter confirming that their claim form has been submitted and will include a unique claim ID for future tracking of the claim (“Confirmation Email”).
Commercial or business transactions involving the purchase of the Participating Products, lay-by’s not paid in full by 31 December 2011 and short term rental transaction contracts of less than 24 months are excluded from this offer (“Excluded Transactions”). Educational institutions, hospitals, fundraisers and government departments or organisations of a similar kind are classed as business transactions and therefore not eligible. The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any claim for any Excluded Transaction.
Purchases of the Participating Product via eBay or similar online third party Internet websites are also excluded from this offer (“Excluded Purchase”). The Promoter at its sole discretion shall have the right to refuse any claim for any Excluded Purchase.
The Promoter's decision is final on all matters in this Promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
All redemption claims and proof of purchase must be received by 11.59pm (AEDST) on 21 January 12, otherwise they will be deemed to be invalid. Dated post stamps will be checked. Invalid claims will not be eligible to receive a bonus offer. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for claims not processed or late or declined claims due to incorrect payment details. The Promoter is not responsible for deliveries of Participating Products that are late, lost or stolen.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of the bonus offer redemption and the claimant’s details (including the claimant's identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a bonus offer redemption that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the bonus offer redemption process. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the participating stores and the customer to determine when the Participating Products are delivered by the participating retail outlet in Australia in accordance with Item 8(b). Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
Any incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible submission of a redemption claim or purchase receipt copy will be deemed invalid. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any equipment, software or any injury or damage to a claimant’s or other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of materials in relation to this Promotion.
If the bonus offer is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the bonus offer with another bonus offer of equal value.
If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to disqualify any claimant; or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion, as appropriate, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, agents and contractors) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in bonus offer value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of the bonus offer.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any delays in supply of the bonus offer to the claimant as a result of the failure by the supplier of the bonus offer to supply the number of units within the time specified to the Promoter. The Promoter shall additionally not be responsible for any delays caused as a result of inbound transportation, disruptions (including but not limited to strikes, weather, postage delays, etc) which are caused by events, which are beyond the control of the Promoter and/or the supplier of the bonus offer.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter’s Privacy Officer. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
