Introduce a friend to HCF who takes out a new membership between 1 December 2011 and 31 January 2012, and you'll both receive a $100 eftpos card.

What you need to do:

Call 13 13 34, visit any HCF branch or contact your corporate representative from today to receive your 'More for You' joining vouchers.
Hand out the vouchers to friends, family and work colleagues who may be interested in joining HCF.
Once they have taken out a new membership, and completed and paid for three months, you'll both be sent your $100 card.

HCF 'More for You' promotion terms & conditions

The 'More for You' promotion is only available to existing HCF members, or newly introduced members after they have joined HCF, through HCF's 55 branches, call centre and corporate representatives. New members joining as part of this promotion cannot join online.

For this promotion a new member is defined as a new membership. Each new membership will only count as one referral. A person taking out a new membership, in order to be classed as a new membership, cannot have been a member with HCF at any time in the six months prior to rejoining as a part of the More for You promotion. Adding an additional person to an existing policy does not count as a new membership.

To participate in the promotion, the HCF member must have a 'current' membership i.e. It cannot be a lapsed membership, or membership in arrears.

The $100 gift card incentive for this promotion is a $100 eftpos card.

To qualify for the gift card, new members joining must take out both hospital and extras cover (Ambulance cover and Life cover do not qualify), and must have completed and paid for the first 3 months of their HCF health cover. Overseas Visitor Health Cover is an eligible product range, provided both a hospitals and extras product is taken out. The gift card will be sent out from HCF two weeks after the new member completes the third membership month. The introducing HCF member will also receive their $100 gift card at this time, provided they are still a current HCF member.

The gift card must be activated within 3 months of issue, or it will become invalid. The card will be activated with the last 4 digits of the member's membership number. Once activated, the gift card has 12 months to be spent.

The gift card is only available to newly introduced HCF memberships that are taken out, and is not available to an existing HCF member listed as a Policy Holder or Partner who is moving off an HCF policy and on to their own cover.

HCF members currently on a membership policy as a dependant that subsequently take out their own HCF membership through this promotion are eligible to receive the gift card.

The end date for the promotion (i.e. the date by which the new member joining as part of the promotion needs to sign by) is 31 January 2012.

If the newly introduced member is not transferring from another fund, they may qualify for the 2/6 month waiver giving them immediate access to a wide range of benefits they would normally wait up to 6 months for. Normal waiver conditions apply.

When completing the application form, the newly introduced member must attach their 'More for You' joining voucher to enable HCF to match their application to the introducing member.

There is no limit to the number of new memberships that the existing HCF member can introduce over the course of the promotion.

No third party services, such as eBay, Twitter or Facebook, can be used to promote the gift card joining incentive.

HCF staff members and immediate family are not permitted to participate in this promotion.

HCF's decision on any matters relating to these terms and conditions is final.
