Instructions on how to enter form part of the conditions of entry. By participating entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.
The promoter is Microsoft Pty Limited, ACN 002 589 460 of 1 Epping Road, North Ryde, New South Wales, 2113.
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 13 and over who have a Facebook account (
www.facebook.com). Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this promotion. Employees and their immediate families of the promoter, its retailers, suppliers and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter.
The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who the promoter believes either has tampered with the entry process or has submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
The competition commences at 5:00pm (Sydney time) on 16th December 2011 and closes at 5:00pm (Sydney time) on 24 December 2011 (Promotional Period).
Entrants may enter as many times as they like but each entry of must be unique.
To enter, entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
a) Enter via the Xbox for Families Facebook page -
www.fb.com/xboxforfamilies b) provide a full name and valid email address; and
c) answer in 360 characters or less “How Kinect will make Christmas for your family more entertaining” (“entry”).
Limit one double pass per household & one Kinect Bundle Prize per household.
The first 2,000 valid entries will win one (1) double pass cinema voucher valued at $25. There are 2,000 double pass cinema vouchers in total to be given away. The cinema voucher can be redeemed at any Hoyts Cinema within Australia and are valid until 30 June, 2012. Total prize value = $50,000. One voucher per household. A household is classed a family living together, all of whom need not be related.

Conditions of Use
This voucher must be exchanged at the Box Office or Candy Bar for your ticket on the day of viewing.
Each barcode is redeemable for one (1) general admission set for one ( 1) adult
for any session including the Bean Bag Cinema and Xtremescreen at any Hoyts cinema in Australia;
for any 3D movie session with an upgrade fee, which will be applied at time of redemption;
and is valid until the expiry date indicated and cannot be exchanged, extended or replaced.
Hoyts must approve in writing any material which includes reference to 'Hoyts' or 'Hoyts Super Saver'.
B. This voucher cannot be:
redeemed for La Premiere, Directors Suite, Hoyts IMAX ® or special or group events;
used to purchase 3D glasses. 3D glasses must be purchased separately at an additional cost;
used in conjunction with any other offer;
replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged;
used to purchase any pre-paid movie vouchers, gift cards or Hoyts Rewards memberships;
exchanged for cash and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing;
sold without the prior written consent of Hoyts Corporation Pty Ltd.

All entries will also be eligible to win the Xbox 250GB Kinect Bundle with Kinect Adventures and Carnival games valued at $499 RRP each (“Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Holiday Bundle Prize”). The best five entries as judged by the promoter from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period \ will win one (1) Kinect Bundle Prize each. One prize per household. Total prize number prizes = 54. Total prize value = $2495.
“Best Entry” will be judged on creativity, uniqueness, humour, how much the judges felt it was genuine and the tone of the entry. Chance plays no part in winning; this is a game of skill.
The total value of all prizes is $52,495. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash. If the promoter is unable to supply the nominated prize, or part of any nominated prize the promoter reserves the right, subject to the written directions of any competent authority to supply another prize of greater or equal value.
All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. Any form of automated entry using other devices or software is invalid.
All entries become the property of the promoter. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by the promoter. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
Entrants warrant that their entry in the competition does not breach the intellectual property rights of any third party. The entrant indemnifies and will keep the promoter and its associated agencies indemnified against any loss, costs (including legal costs), expenses or liability the promoter and its associated agencies may suffer arising out of a breach by the entrant of this clause.
The stated prize value is the recommended retail value (including GST) in Australia as provided by the supplier and is correct at the time of printing. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
Winners of all prizes will be notified on 28 December 2012 via email. Kinect Bundle Prizes will be distributed by post and tickets via email. In the event that a prize is not claimed by 31 January 2012, the judges will select an alternate winner to receive the prize.
If any winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on their behalf.
Any costs associated with entering the competition and accessing the website are the responsibility of the entrant.
The promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the entrant releases the promoter from responsibility for, any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the entrant’s participation in this promotion or the conduct of the promotion generally or as a direct or indirect result of an entrant’s error, any technical problem of any kind including communications or network failure, unauthorised access to, transferring or theft of data, whether caused by the entrant or associated with the equipment or programming used in the conduct of this promotion. If, because of any such problem, this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion’s administration, security, fairness or integrity are compromised or affected, the promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or disqualify any entrant involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion in any way.
These terms and conditions do not, nor do they purport to, limit, exclude or modify any non-excludable statutory guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act Cth (2010), or any other warranties (whether express or implied) under any state or federal legislation which cannot be excluded.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law and without limiting any other conditions of entry, the promoter may, in its discretion, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any directions given by any relevant authority. All entrants participating in the promotion at the point of termination, modification or suspension of the promotion will be notified by the promoter in writing. In the event of modification or suspension of the promotion, the entrant may choose to terminate their participation in the promotion at no cost.
