Since first airing in July 1992 as suited characters, Bananas in Pyjamas has been a phenomenal success not only in Australia but in more than 70 countries worldwide and continues to be loved by preschoolers around the world.
Now they are back with new stories, new laughs and new songs that will delight audiences everywhere as B1 and B2, their adorable friends the Teddies and the ever mischievous Rat, romp their way through the magical world of Cuddlestown. There are some new friends to meet too; Topsy the cheeky kangaroo, Charlie the inventive monkey, Pedro the carefree pig and Bernard, the wise old dog. And on Tuesday the Teddies better watch out as this is the day the Banana’s love to chase them!
Along with their all new animated TV series airing daily on ABC for Kids, B1 and B2 also have a new range of fun and exciting merchandise available in time for Christmas. The DVD’s, books, games, apparel, homewares and cuddly plush will be sure to delight the fussiest of pre-schoolers. Products range from $8.99 to $59.95 and are available at ABC Stores, Target and Toys R Us.
