Getaway at Noosa resort celebrates Stonefruit Day
THE hunt is on for the most gorgeous, finest and keenest Australians, fake tanners and tanty-throwers in a wacky awards program led by Con the Fruiterer.
Nominations are open for the gongs, to commemorate the second annual Australian Summer Stonefruit Day on January 25.
Con needs your help in suggesting contenders to celebrate the country's peaches, nectarines, plums and apricots.

To celebrate the season, Summerfruit Australia and Quest Newspapers are giving readers the chance to win one of two weekends at Sheraton Noosa Resort & Spa, pictured (
www.sherton.com/noosa).
Each prize for two includes a two-night stay in a deluxe room at the resort, buffet breakfast in Cato's restaurant, wine on arrival, valet parking and entry to the Aqua room. Each prize is valued at $1700.
Entries close at 9am on January 25. Winners will be drawn at 10am and notified by mail. Results will be published on February 1.
