METHOD OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter forms part
of the terms of entry. Entry into the Competition
is deemed acceptance of these
terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents
aged 18 years and over only. Employees of
Palace Cinemas, Etihad Airways, Relais &
Châteaux & Hotel Daniel and their agencies
associated with this competition and
their immediate families are ineligible. By
entering the competition, entrants will be
deemed to agree with these terms of entry.
3. Palace Cinema Joint Venture & Etihad
Airways "Win a Trip to Paris flying Etihad
the World's Leading Airline" ("the Competition")
commences on Thursday 15 December,
2011 at midnight AEST and ends on
Thursday 8th March, 2012 at 11.59.59pm
AEST (the Promotion Period).
4. To enter, entrants must purchase any
"Combo" at a Palace Bar in
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide
or online at
www.palacecinemas.com.auto receive a unique code card as proof of
purchase, an entry form to complete including
their unique code, full name, email
address, suburb, postcode and contact
phone number. The entry form then needs
to be submitted to the "entry box" in the
cinema. Original entry coupons are only
valid entries, facsimiles or scans will not
be accepted.
5. Food and beverage "Combos" are the
Palace Cinemas food and beverage
pre-set combination of products. Combo
pricing ranges of $7 to $20.
6. All entries become and remain the property
of Palace Cinemas, email addresses
provided will be used by Palace Cinemas
to send session time information (if the
box on entry form is ticked). Email addresses
provided will be used by Etihad
Airways to send information (if the box on
entry form is ticked).
7. Palace Cinema Joint Venture reserves
the right to request winners to provide
proof of identity, proof of Australian residency
status at the nominated prize delivery
address and/or proof of entry validity,
in order to claim the prize. Acceptance of
proof of identification, Australian residency
and entry considered suitable for verification
is at the discretion of Palace Cinemas.
In the event that a winner cannot provide
proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in
whole and no substitute will be offered
8. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries
will be deemed invalid
MAJOR PRIZE
The prize winner will receive:

10. 5 nights' accommodation at Hotel
Daniel including Continental Breakfast at
$3905 in the form of a voucher.
11. All valid entries are automatically entered
into the Prize draw. The Prize winner
will be drawn at 12:00 noon on 25/03/12
AEST at Palace Cinemas Head Office, 233
Whitehorse Road, Balwyn 3103. The Prize
winner will be notified by phone on 25th
March 2012 and also in
writing. The name of the winner will be
published on the Palace Cinemas website
on 25 March 2012 and published in The
Palace E-Newsletter sent on Thursday 5th
April 2012. The winner's name will also be
published in The Herald Sun on 30/03/12.
12. The Prize is described in the materials
as a "Win a Trip to Paris Flying Etihad the
World's leading Airline" and the exact
specifics of the prize is outlined in the
'Winners' Letter'. Images shown of the aircraft
and the hotel rooms in advertising
may not be the exact room or aircraft utilized
in the prize described above in point
9 and 10 and in the 'Winners' Letter'.
Palace Cinema Joint Venture reserves the
right to exchange the prize for an alternative
prize of equal or greater value, subject
to state regulation.
13. Palace Cinemas accepts no responsibility
for any loss, damages, or injury incurred
to enter the Competition or in
connection with taking up the prize.
14. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable
and cannot be taken as cash.
15. Prize delivery timing subject to Palace
availability; however Palace will cover
postage cost of prize/voucher/letter (if
any) only to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane
or South Australia
16. Once the prize has left the Prize Supplier's
premises, we take no responsibility
for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in
transit.
17. Any costs associated with the collection
of the prize are at the prize winners
expense
18. The Prize winner is responsible for all
additional costs associated with the Prize.
19. "If the Major Prize winner cannot be
contacted by 17:00 AEST on
Monday, 2 April 2012, the Promoter will
conduct an unclaimed prize draw on that
date and time at Palace Cinemas Head Office,
233 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn 3103.
The Major Prize winner from the unclaimed
prize draw will be notified by
phone and in writing. The name of the
winner from the unclaimed prize draw will
be published on the Palace website, the
Palace E-Newsletter on Thursday, 5th
April, 2012. The winner's name will also
be published in the Herald Sun on
06/04/12.
20. Palace Cinemas Joint Venture and Etihad
Airways are not responsible to the extent
permitted by law, for acts of god, acts
of terrorism or war (declared or undeclared)
or other events beyond the control
of Palace or Etihad Airways, which prevents
the awarding of the Prize in accordance
with the prize description.
21.Neither Palace, Palace Cinemas nor
their associated companies, will be held liable
for any loss, damage or injury of the
results directly or indirectly from the Prize
winner taking up the Prize.
TRAVEL
22. Travel must be on Etihad Airways and
completed by 28th February 2013 with no
further extensions.
23. Booking of airfares must be finalized
and tickets issued by 31 December 2012.
24. Travel is subject to availability to "S"
class space being available. Travel during
peak periods and embargo periods may be
restricted. This includes but is not limited
to June, July and the Christmas and New
Year period.
25. Travel is for a period of no more than
60 days and any tickets which remain unused
after the expiry date shall be deemed
null and void.
26. The winner (and their companion) are
responsible for all other expenses including
accommodation (unless specified),
spending money, meals, drinks, transfers,
laundry charges, activities, incidentals,
taxes and airport charges, excess baggage
over and above the approved 23 kgs, gratuities,
services charges, passports, visas,
travel insurance and all other ancillary
costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended
to protect against the additional
costs incurred in the event of unforeseen
circumstances.
27. Payment for taxes and airport charges
must be made prior to tickets being issued
and are payable by cash, bank cheque or
credit card. As at 18 November 2011 the
amount payable per person is AUD150
however this amount is subject to currency
fluctuations and may change without
notice.
28. The winner and travelling companion
must travel at the same time, must depart
from the same capital city and are responsible
for transport from their residence to
their nearest city for flight departure (Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane). If the winner
does not reside in the state of any of these
capital cities, it is the winner's responsibility
to make their own travel arrangements
to one of the departure cities (Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane).
29.It is the travelers' personal responsibility
to ensure that they have valid documentation
which meets the requirements
of immigration and other government authorities
at every destination. Any fines,
penalties, payments or expenditures incurred
as a result of such documents not
meeting the requirements of those authorities
will be the sole responsibility of the
travelers.
30.Travel is subject to the General Conditions
of Carriage of Etihad Airways. These

31.No Frequent Flyer points will be accrued
as part of this prize

PROPERTY:

32. 6 night's accommodation offered at
Hotel Daniel Paris in 1 classic single or
double room
for 1 or 2 persons with Continental breakfast
included. Vouchers valid until February
28th 2013. Booking dependent upon
availability. Gift voucher has to be presented
upon reservation & check-in to

35.Reservations must be made by contacting
the hotel and providing the voucher

36.Reservations must be made at least 15
days prior to arrival. Reservations shall be
arranged directly with the property; reservations
are subject to availability.
37.Booking confirmation is the sole responsibility
of the property mentioned
herewith. This voucher has no cash value.
It is the full responsibility of its holder, particularly
in case of theft or loss. Any extras
(beverages, activities, tourist taxes) must
be paid directly on site. Under no circumstances
may the validity date be extended.

38. Estimated Prize values are based upon
the recommended retail prices at the time
of printing (inclusive of GST). Neither
Palace nor Etihad Airways accepts responsibility
for change in prize value between
now and the ultimate
prize redemption date.
39. It is a condition of accepting the prize
that the winner must comply with
all the conditions of use of the prize and
the prize supplier's requirements.
40. Palace Cinema Joint Venture and Etihad
Airways assume no responsibility for
any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission;
communications line failure, theft or destruction
or unauthorised access to, or alterations
of entries, and reserves the right
to take any action that may be available. If
for any reason the Competition is not capable
of running as planned, due to causes
including, but not limited to tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical
failures or any other causes beyond the
control of the promoter which corrupt or
affect the administration security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of the Competition,
the promoter reserves the rights in
its sole discretion to disqualify any individual
who tampers with the entry process,
take any action that may be available, and
to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
the Competition. Subject to State Regulation.
41. All details of the entrants will be used
and preserved in accordance with the
National Privacy Principles. A request to
access, update or correct any information
should be directed to that office. Unless
otherwise notified. Palace Cinema Joint
Venture may use the entries and details of
entrants for promotional and publicity purposes
(including on-providing details of
entrants). Entrants consent to their full
names and/or their entries being used in
all media by Palace. Palace may disclose
entrants' personal information to State and
Territory lottery departments and the winner's
name may be published as required
under the relevant legislation.
42. Entrants can request access to the personal
information Palace holds about them
