Even if you don’t take advantage of their door-to-door limo service, Mancini’s staff give each diner the star treatment and the restaurant’s smart yet casual setting suits relaxed family lunches as ideally as special occasions. Like the pizza itself, owner/chef Eric Mancini is originally from Naples and remains one of Sydney’s godfathers of wood fire cooking. There’s a vast range of gourmet wood fired pizzas to choose from, though Mancini’s menu explores the length and breadth of Italy with many other options like homemade pastas and tender veal cooked with white wine, cherry tomatoes, bocconcini, olives and fresh basil.
