The comp required an answer to how you would spend $1000 being something you always wanted to do but never had the cash.  So I said that I'd like to turn the swimming pool into a kids' ball pit.  And that was it!

On Friday they called back to say I could be on the radio this week (no guarantees).  With once a day prize of $1000 I was expecting a nervous week ahead.  Thankfully they called at 06:40 this morning and I was on minutes later!

For about 25 words and 30 seconds of on-air I scored $1000.

This comping lark can pay well at times...

Winning phone call to say I have won a $50 voucher to spend at a bakery.  Then a bar of Cadbury chocolate and a Blackmores shake sample at the PO Box. Nothing at all since a Good Guys win last December so I'm hoping this ends my drought!

Finally received the glue store voucher from coke unleashed , and also a large Finn mcmissile and mater. Thought I was only getting Finn ... Parcel was addressed to two of my kids so they must have both won , still have no idea what the comp was lol with the toys I got last week my sons birthday is taken care of now

Got a call today ffrom ninemsn that I had won the Clear Blue competition for the week! $200 cahs prize!!! Couldn't believe it as I haven't been comping since 2008 and had oinly started 2 days ago again!!! Wow I'm sooooo happy!
