Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter the “Olympus Friday Photo Fiesta” Photo Competition and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. As a condition of participation, Participants accept these Terms and Conditions and any rules, policies or procedures that may be adopted by the Promoter from time to time. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
2. Entry to the “Olympus Friday Photo Fiesta” Photo Competition (the “Competition”) is only open to Australian residents over 18 years of age. Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate families), are ineligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. The submission periods for the competition are as follows:
Week 1 commences at 4pm (AEST), Friday the 29th of June 2012 and ends at 11.59am (AEST) on Thursday the 5th of July.
Week 2 commences at 4pm (AEST), Friday the 6th of July 2012 and ends at 11.59am (AEST) on Thursday the 12th of July.
Week 3 commences at 4pm (AEST), Friday the 13th of July 2012 and ends at 11.59am (AEST) on Thursday the 19th of July.
Week 4 commences at 4pm (AEST), Friday the 20th of July 2012 and ends at 11.59am (AEST) on Thursday the 26th of July.No responsibility is accepted for any entries not received due to computer error or any other unforseen errors that may occur on the part of the participant or the promoter.
4. To participate in the Competition, participants may upload a minimum of one (1) photograph and a maximum of (3) photographs via the WildFire App on the Olympus Imaging Australia Facebook Page (Olympus AU) at
www.facebook.com/Olympus.AU. Participants must provide personal details including; full name, address, date of birth, sex, country of residence, email address and contact telephone number.
5. Participants warrant that he/she was the sole photographer responsible for taking or otherwise creating each photograph and that he/she is the sole owner of the copyright to such photograph. By entering the Competition, the Participant confirms that all persons appearing in the photograph have consented to the entrant submitting the photo as part of this competition.
6. Entrants retain copyright in their photographs. By submitting the photo/s to the Promoter, the Participant grants the Promoter and assignees a non exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable permission to use the winner’s photographs without fee for the purposes of marketing and promoting the Competition and any future competitions run by the Promoter. This permission extends to publication and reproduction for the above purposes in the media, on catalogues, posters, postcards, publications and on the internet. Where possible, entrants will receive credits with each use.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude and remove any entry from the Competition at any time and to verify the validity of entries and participants to disqualify submissions not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or tampers with the voting process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
8. Incomplete and indecipherable entries and any entry which has incorrectly entered personal information or contact details shall be deemed an invalid entry.
9. Photographs must adhere to each week’s nominated theme in order to be eligible. These themes are:
Week 1: Food
Week 2: Family
Week 3: Fashion
Week 4: Fun
Images that are considered unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, unduly sexually oriented, racially offensive, or that promote a commercial product or service, contain objectionable content or are otherwise considered inappropriate will be deemed invalid and rejected in the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
10. Entries will be judged by the Olympus Imaging Australia judging panel. Voting period will be as follows:
Week 1: Voting commences 12pm (AEST) 5th July 2012 until 11am (AEST) on July 6th 2012. 11. Winners will be announced 12pm (AEST) on July 6th 2012.
Week 2: Voting commences 12pm (AEST) 12th July 2012 until 11am (AEST) on July 13th 2012. 11. Winners will be announced 12pm (AEST) on July 13th 2012.
Week 3: Voting commences 12pm (AEST) 19th July 2012 until 11am (AEST) on July 20th 2012. 11. Winners will be announced 12pm (AEST) on July 20th 2012.
Week 4: Voting commences 12pm (AEST) 26th July 2012 until 11am (AEST) on July 27th 2012. 11. Winners will be announced 12pm (AEST) on July 27th 2012.Winners will be announced on the Olympus AU Facebook Page and contacted via email prior to announcement.
12. Prizes will be awarded to the top entrant each week as decided by the Olympus Imaging Australia judging panel.
13. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. The Promoter may confirm new winners by way of the next highest amount of votes in the case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is selected as a winner/s.

. The prize each week shall be an Olympus PEN Mini Single Lens Kit valued at $599. The total prize pool across all five weeks is valued at $239615. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is available.

One entry per person per week is permitted. Any participant found to be using multiple accounts to enter or to by any other mean seek to pervert the entry process will immediately be disqualified from entry for the duration of the promotion.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any time and change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to any Participant, if this is necessitated by unforeseen circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to request Participants to provide additional proof of identity and residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
19. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to the Competition, including but not limited to any dispute as to the voting, identity of an Participant, eligibility to become an Eligible Participant or the Prizes is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into between the Promoter and the Participants in this respect.
19. The Promoter is Olympus Imaging Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 12 110 126 960, 82 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113 (the “Promoter”).
