1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia and who are aged 18 years of age or older. Directors, management and employees of the Promoter, participating outlets/venues and of the agencies or companies associated with this competition (including the immediate family members of the before mentioned people) are not eligible to enter this competition.

4. The competition entry period is as follow: commences at 12.00pm (AEDT) on Monday August 20, 2012 and closes at 12:00pm on Monday August 27, 2012 (AEDT)
5. Winner will be announced by 4:00pm Tuesday August 28, 2012 (AEDT).

8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
9. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality in their answer to of 25 words or less.
10. Each entry will be individually judged by or on behalf of the Promoter based on, amongst other things, creativity and literary merit. The best valid entries as determined by or on behalf of the Promoter will win the prize/s. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter by email. The winner’s name will be posted on Yellowglen Facebook page

12. The prize is $1,000 (incl GST). The total maximum value of the prize pool is $1,000. Prize values are the recommended retail value and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed.
13. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes.
14. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Entries deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way will be excluded from winning a prize.
15. Entries that are, or include, obscene, offensive, defamatory, inappropriate, unsuitable, or infringing content as determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion will be deemed invalid and are not eligible to win. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will also be deemed invalid and disregarded.
16. All entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. Each “25 words or less” statement must be the entrant’s original work. By entering this competition entrants:
■Consent to the Promoter making copies of or publishing the whole or any part of their entry (including the “25 words or less” statement) and otherwise exploiting the entry and any rights in relation to the entry, to publicise this competition or for any other purposes; and
■Undertake to the Promoter that their entry is not, and its use by the Promoter will not be, in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.
17. Except for any liability which by law cannot be excluded, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of or in connection with the Promotion, including as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize. By entering this promotion, entrants agree not to bring any claim or proceeding against either of the Promoters for any damage, loss, injury or liability they may suffer in connection with this promotion or otherwise connected with accepting and performing the prize.
18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Tax Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
20. The winner agrees to participate, at the Promoter’s request, in any news media marketing and promotional activities surrounding the promotion such as photographic shoots and interviews free of charge and consent to the Promoter using their name and image in such promotional material.
21. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
