the prize that may be won in the Promotion form part of these
Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion
constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry
are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to
disqualify any person from the Promotion if any entries do not
comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are Trade Members.
Employees of the Promoter’s associated companies, the
Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion and
their immediate families are ineligible to enter. These Terms
& Conditions of Entry will be displayed in all 19 Masters Stores
at the commencement of the Promotion. Entrants who are
under the age of 18 must seek permission from their parent or
guardian to enter.
3. Definitions within this Promotion:
a) Trade Member(s) means an individual tradeperson with
a registered business name and ABN or an employee of a
registered business with an ABN who is the holder of a
Masters Trade Member card.
b) Participating Store means all Masters stores
c) Promotion means the promotion governed by these
Terms & Conditions of Entry
d) Promotion Period means commencing at 09:00 (AEST)
on Monday 30th July 2012 and closing at 23:59 (AEST) on
Friday 31st August 2012.
e) Eligible Purchases means a transaction at any Participating
Stores during the Promotion Period where your Masters Trade
Member card is scanned at the register.
f) Promoter Masters Home Improvement Pty Limited ABN
21066891307 of 3 City View Road Pennant Hills, NSW 2120.
4. The Promotion commences and closes as specified in the
Promotion Period.
5. To enter the Promotion make an Eligible Purchase at any
Participating Store and swipe your Trade Members card. If,
at the time of a Trade Members’ Eligible Purchase, the Trade
Member pays with a Masters Trade Charge Card, they will be
entitled to an additional five (5) entries into the Promotion
Masters Trade Member ‘Free fuel’ Promotion – Terms &
Conditions of Entry (making a total of six (6) entries for the
relevant transaction). Multiple Eligible Purchases are permitted
during the Promotion Period.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of
entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for
tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to
making multiple entries that are not associated with an Eligible
Purchase, or for otherwise submitting an entry that is not in
accordance with these conditions of entry.
7. The 19 individual draws will be conducted on Friday 7
September 2012 at 10.00 (AEST) at the Promoters agent
Custard Pty Ltd 34-36 Elizabeth Street, Hobart Tasmania 7000.
8. The first 19 valid entries randomly drawn will be the winners.
The prize winners will be contacted by phone and in writing
and the winner’s details will be published in the public notices
section of The Australian on Friday 14 September 2012 and on
masters.com.au. If a winning entry is invalid, that entry will be
discarded and the prize will be awarded by randomly drawing
another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions
of Entry.
9. There is a total of 19 prizes on offer, 1 prize per store. The first
valid entry from each store drawn will win. Prize consists of a
CALTEX WOOLWORTHS or CALTEX SAFEWAY co-branded
outlet gift cards of a value of. $2,500.0
10. Subject to the approval process required by any relevant
gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that any prize item
is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours
to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
11. If a winner does not claim their prize within 3 months from
the date of determination of that winner, their entry will be
deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further
draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary.
The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00 noon AEST
on Friday 14 December 2012 at the Promoters agent Custard
Pty Ltd 34-36 Elizabeth Street, Hobart Tasmania 7000. If in
the case of an unclaimed prize draw the winner will be notified
by phone and/or in writing and the winner’s details will be
published in the public notices section of The Australian on

13. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize will be
awarded to the winner’s parent/guardian on their behalf.
14. Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
15. Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is
accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from
any entrant who is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of
Entry or the Terms or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate
or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the
Promotion.
17. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated
with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including
but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage
or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including
without limitation to that caused by any person’s negligence)
relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the
prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by
law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount
allowable by law).
18. The Promoter may use any personal information that
an entrant has provided to it as part of the promotion
for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in
advertisements, publications, media statements and other
promotional material associated with the Promotion. For
purposes of public statements and advertisements the
Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, initial and
Participating Store location. The Promoter may disclose
the information for those purposes to its related bodies
corporate and contractors. The Promoter is bound by the
National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act (Cth)
1988. A copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy can be viewed
at the Website. To request access to, or to update, personal
information the Promoter holds about them, entrants can
contact the Promoter in writing at Masters, PO Box 8000,
Baulkham Hills NSW 2153.
19. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details
will be held in accordance with the Woolworths Ltd privacy
policy, which can be viewed at
www.woolworths.com.au/AboutUs/PrivacyPolicy.
20. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of
the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
