Your chance to design the Face of Australia, Australian National Costume!

Want to have a say in what costume Miss Universe Australia Renae Ayris will wear in front of 1 billion people world wide?

Well here’s your chance to do both.

THE CREATION

Miss Universe Australia invites anyone from amateur to budding fashion designers to professionals to design and create the Face of Australia Australian National Costume worn by Miss Universe Australia. The costume represents what it means to be Australian.

You can submit your creation via the Miss Universe Australia website at www.missuniverseaustralia.com.au

Miss Universe Australia will take submissions from 9am AEST on Tuesday the 14th of August until 5pm AEST on Thursday the 20th of September, 2012.

A panel of experts chosen by Miss Universe Australia will ultimately narrow down the submissions to a Top 4. Miss Universe Australia will notify the Top 4 on or around September 24, 2012.

THE VOTE

The National Costume worn by Miss Universe often becomes the talk of Australia. So here’s your chance to choose what Miss Universe Australia will wear at Donald Trump’s International Miss Universe Final.

Watch Sunrise on Monday the 12th of November, 2012 for your chance to see the Top 4 Designs and for instructions on how to vote. The winner will be announced on Sunrise on Wednesday the 21st of November, 2012.

THE ULTIMATE PRIZE

If your costume is the one Australia votes for, then Miss Universe Australia will give you the chance to attend the 2012 Donald Trump International Miss Universe Final in December, in person! This includes return economy airfares and five nights’ accommodation.

You will see your creation, modelled live on stage!
