Based on the literary classic by Jack Kerouac, the movie follows the story of Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer. After meeting Dean Moriarty, a charming ex-con, they decide to both leave their mundane lives and set off on a road trip of self-discovery.
The movie includes an ensemble cast of Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Kristen Stewart as the main protagonists.
The competition opens at 9:00 am on August 21 and closes at 5:00 pm on September 17, 2012. It will be drawn September 19, 2012. Winners will be contacted by mail.

Competition will be drawn at RACQ.
Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entry is by email using the prescribed competition or subscription form.
Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prize between the publishing date and the date prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
In the case of travel prizes, travel insurance, spending money and other ancillary costs are the winner’s responsibility. The prize is subject to booking availability and all other relevant terms and conditions.
The winners will be notified by email. Prizes will be posted or couriered to winners as appropriate.
In the event that a redraw is required, it will be held at RACQ, three weeks after the original draw date and the redrawn winner/s will be notified by email.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition.
