Grand Prize for residents of Australia, Hong Kong and India:
The Grand Prize winning team will receive a 4-day/3-night trip for two (2) to at a Sponsor-selected Starwood Hotel to attend the Indian Grand Prix from October 26, 2012 to October 28, 2012.

Trip includes: roundtrip coach air transportation from a major airport nearest winner's residence to Westin Gurgaon; standard hotel accommodations [one (1) room, double occupancy, room and tax only] for 4 days and 3 nights, daily breakfast, and two (2) VIP Paddock Club tickets to the Indian Grand Prix including an invitation to an exclusive event at the Westin Gurgaon, Delhi on October 27, 2012.

•   ELIGIBILITY: The Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Mercedes AMG Petrona Formula One Team Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to Starwood Preferred Guest® (SPG®) members who are legal residents currently residing in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), Australia, India, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, who are at least 18 years of age or older as of date of entry.Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. •   TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes:

•   During the Sweepstakes Period, you may access the Sweepstakes by visiting www.spg.com/poleposition ("Website") or www.spg.com/poleposition/cn for China or www.spg.com/poleposition/jp for Japan. Complete all required fields of the on-screen registration form. When you complete the registration, you will be prompted to invite a friend to enter the Sweepstakes. If/when a friend registers for the Sweepstakes on the Website, you and your friend will automatically be entered into the corresponding Monthly Prize Drawing as a team ("Team"), the subsequent Monthly Drawing, if any, and the Grand/First and Second Prize Drawing (if applicable based on country of residence). All eligible Monthly (see chart in section #3 for Monthly Start & End Dates) entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on the corresponding Monthly End Date, as listed below, to be entered into that Month's corresponding Monthly Prize Drawing, the subsequent Monthly Drawing, if any, and the Grand/First and Second Prize Drawing (if applicable based on country of residence).

•   Once your team has been entered, you will receive one (1) entry into the into the corresponding Monthly Prize Drawing, the subsequent Monthly Drawing, if any, and the Grand/First and Second Prize Drawing by completing a stay at a participating Starwood Hotels and Resorts property in one of the eligible countries listed in Rule #1 during the Sweepstakes Period. A stay is defined as one (1) or more consecutive nights spent at the same hotel/resort, regardless of the check-in/check-out activity. The guest name on the reservation is the person who will be entered into the Sweepstakes. All information, including your SPG number, along with a valid credit card guarantee, required for a reservation must be provided in order for the reservation to be eligible for an entry.

Limit one (1) entry per person, per day, regardless of method of entry.

Entries that result from transactions made with lost, stolen or fraudulent credit cards are ineligible.

Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the permitted number of entries by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, addresses or any other method will void all of that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified at Sponsor's discretion. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Bulk entries, entries submitted by third parties, mechanically reproduced or photocopied entries, or entries created using automation or computer programs are prohibited and automatically void. Normal Internet, phone and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. Incomplete, corrupted, or untimely entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether, human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a participant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner smay be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Entries specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.

•   SELECTION OF WINNERS/WINNER NOTIFICATION: On or about October 2, 2012, the potential Grand Prize winning Teams (one per each set of countries or singular country as defined below) and the First Prize winner and Second Prize winner (from among only the first set of countries listed) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received from each set of countries or singular country listed during the Sweepstakes Period. Monthly Prize winners will be selected in each of two (2) separate random drawings, one (1) for each Month of the Sweepstakes Period, from among all eligible entries received by the end of each Month, as described in the chart below. Drawings will be conducted by a representative of the Sponsor whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Grand Prize, First Prize and Second Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received from each set of countries or singular country listed by the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning a Monthly Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the end of each Month.

Grand/First and Second Prize and Monthly Prize winners/winning Teams will be notified by mail, email and/or phone and, except where prohibited, winner/each Team member will be required to return via email/mail, an affidavit of eligibility, a Release of Liability and, except where prohibited, publicity release ("Affidavit") (or confirmation of eligibility form, and liability/publicity release if potential winner/winning Team member is a resident of any of the other eligible countries), within three (3) days of notification in order to receive the prize. If any winner/Team member fails to respond to prize notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner/winning Team will be selected, time permitting. For Canadian winning Teams: To be declared an official winner and to claim a prize, the entrant/both Team members must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by the Sponsor or Sponsor's representative or prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, an alternate winner/winning Team selected. All applicable federal, state, country and local taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner. If a potential winner/winning Team member fails to sign and return the Affidavit/Release within the required time period, or is unavailable to accept the prize within the time period specified by Sponsor, the potential winner/winning Team will be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and an alternate potential winner/winning Team will be selected. If a prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, or if a potential winner/winning Team member does not respond to prize notification or if any potential winner/winning Team member does not comply with these Official Rules, then the potential winner/winning Team member may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner/winning Team will be selected. Noncompliance with the foregoing, failure to abide by these Official Rules, or return of the prize notification as non-deliverable may result in disqualification and naming of an alternate potential winner/winning Team.

POTENTIAL WINNERS/WINNING TEAMS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. A PARTICIPANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL PARTICIPANT'S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND PARTICIPANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE.

•   PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES ("ARV"):

Prizes for residents of United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar:

The Grand Prize winning Team will receive a 5-day/4night trip for two (2) to Abu Dhabi to attend the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix on November 4, 2012. Trip includes: round trip business class air transportation compliments of Etihad Airways from any EY online airports in the countries where the competition is taking place to Abu Dhabi (in the event there is no Etihad flight from major airport nearest winner's home, Sponsor will fly the winner to an airport serviced by Etihad); standard hotel accommodations [one (1) Suite, double occupancy, room and tax only] for 5days and 4 nights, and Two Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team experience passes for Friday/Saturday/Sunday to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The winners and their guests will also be invited to an exclusive cocktail reception at the Westin Abu Dhabi on Saturday 3rd of November 2012. In order to use the cocktail reception portion of prize, winning Team members must be of legal drinking age in his/her country or state of residence. The total Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is USD$30,000 depending on the winning Team's residences.

The First Prize winner will receive a Sponsor-selected signed car part. The Approximate Retail Value of the First Prize is USD$5,500.

The Second Prize winner will receive a Sponsor-selected signed piece of technical wear. The Approximate Retail Value of the First Prize is USD$200.

Grand Prize for residents of Australia, Hong Kong and India:

Grand Prize for residents of Japan (awarded to the Entrant only):

The Grand Prize winner will receive two (2) signed model cars by Michael Schumacher, and two(2) signed Mercedes Petronas caps by Nico Rosberg. The total Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is USD$1,000.

Monthly Prizes for residents of United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Australia, Hong Kong, China, Japan and India (awarded to the Entrant only):

20 Monthly Prize winners (10 per month) will receive a signed poster or a signed Mercedes AMG Petronas cap, awarded at the discretion of the Sponsor. The Approximate Retail Value of each Monthly Prize is USD$30.

Starpoints will be credited to the member's SPG® account within 4–6weeks from receipt of winner's SPG® number. Once Starpoints are in the members account, use of Starpoints and point expiration follow the guidelines of the SPG program terms and conditions. Starpoints can be used at for stay(s) at winner's discretion.

For the Grand Prizes (not applicable to Japan and China): Tickets will not be refundable or redeemable for cash, or credit at any time, nor will tickets be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets may not be sold to a third party. If Sponsor deems that, due to a Grand Prize winning Team's proximity to the destination, air transportation is not necessary, ground transportation may be substituted in lieu of air travel. Grand Prizes or any of the above listed components may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, substituted, commissioned or redeemed for cash value. Grand Prize trips must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. Dates of departure and return are subject to change. The Grand Prize winning Team members understand and agree that Sponsor and/or prize provider have the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify and remove a Grand Prize winning Team member from any activity at any time without compensation if a Grand Prize winning Team member behavior at any point is uncooperative, disruptive, or may or does cause damage to person, property, or the reputation of Sponsor or prize provider or otherwise violates the policies of the Sponsor or prize providers, and in such a case, Grand Prize winning Team members will still be solely responsible for all taxes and other expenses related to the prize. Actual value of each Grand Prize will depend on point of departure, dates of travel and any airfare fluctuations and any difference in value will not be awarded. Airline carrier and agent to be selected by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Grand Prize winning Team members must travel together on the same itinerary, and air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken by Grand Prize winning Team members together. Once trip dates have been booked, no extension or substitution of trip dates is permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Once travel has been confirmed, any cancellation or change fees or restructuring of the trip are the sole responsibility of each Grand Prize winning Team member. Grand Prize winning Team members are solely responsible for providing all necessary identification documents and will be responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (i.e., valid passport, visa, etc.). Failure to provide such documents may result in trip cancellation upon airport check-in. Grand Prize winning Team members must have/present at least one major credit card in good standing in order to check into hotel. The Grand Prize trip restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the Affidavit (described below) (or confirmation of eligibility form, and liability/publicity release if potential winner is a resident of any of the eligible countries besides the U.S.) (described below) and/or Grand Prize winning Team member's travel documents. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets/itinerary/identification, etc. Grand Prize winning Team members are solely responsible for all federal, state, provincial, municipal, country and local taxes and any other costs, incidentals, and any other expenses associated with Grand Prize acceptance and use not specifically mentioned as being provided, including, but not limited to, unspecified ground transportation and/or luggage handling between Grand Prize winning Team member's home and airport, and items not included as part of the winning Grand Prize package. The following are the sole responsibility of each Grand Prize winning Team member: travel insurance; room service; laundry service; spa treatments; alcoholic beverages, unspecified meals; local and long distance telephone calls; merchandise and souvenirs; incidental expenses; additional tips and gratuities; and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein. All other expenses and incidentals not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded and are the Grand Prize winning Team members sole responsibility. Grand Prize is non-commissionable and no substitutions, transfers, or cash equivalents for each Grand Prize (or prize component) are permitted, except that Sponsor may substitute prize component of equal value for any reason. •   PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Any and all applicable federal, state, local, municipal, provincial and country taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of prize not specifically stated herein are the responsibility solely of the winners. Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Sponsor reserves the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at its sole discretion if any advertised prize (or portion of a prize) becomes unavailable. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Limit one Monthly and one Grand/First or Second Prize per person, per household. Trip prizes must be used on dates specified by Sponsor. Certain restrictions apply and dates are subject to change. Major credit card required at check-in to cover any incidental charges. Only the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules is available to be won in the Sweepstakes. In the event any of the events included in the Grand Prizes are cancelled for reasons out of Sponsor's control, that portion of prize will be forfeited and no additional compensation will be provided.

Sponsor shall have no liability for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting from or arising out of any travel related to ANY Prize or any other aspect of ANY Prize Winner's acceptance or use of ANY Prize.

•   GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. Void in where prohibited.
