Promotion runs from Monday 22/10/2012 to Sunday 11/11/2012. Everyday Rewards members must register to participate in the Promotion by Sunday 28/10/2012. Spend $100 or more at a participating Woolworths supermarket or Woolworths Online and swipe your registered Everyday Rewards card in each of the three designated weeks of the Promotion to receive a $20 Woolworths Gift Card. Amount can be spent in a single or multiple transactions, and excludes Woolworths Liquor, smoking/tobacco products, WISH gift cards and selected services. The Woolworths “Cash for Christmas – $20 Woolworths Gift Card” Promotion is a promotion conducted by the Promoter.
1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prize that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Cardholder from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
Employees of Woolworths Limited are eligible to participate in the Promotion.
The Promotion does not apply to Tasmania.
These Terms & Conditions of Entry will be available in Participating Outlets for the duration of the Promotional Period.
2. Definitions within this Promotion:
Card - means a Registered Everyday Rewards Card issued by the Promoter as part of the Everyday Rewards Program.
Cardholder - means a person who holds an Everyday Rewards Card, and who is registered according to the Everyday Rewards Program database.
Everyday Rewards - is the Woolworths Limited loyalty program which supports the mechanic of entry. Everyday Rewards is not available in Tasmania. For full terms and conditions visit

the definition of 'Expiry Date' in Section 1 is replaced with the following definition: '"Expiry Date" means 11:59pm AEDST on 31 December 2012, after which any remaining funds on a Card will not be available for redemption'; and
clause 3.7 is replaced with the following clause: Your Card is valid for use until the Expiry Date. Any unspent value cannot be used or redeemed after that date.
Participating Outlet - means a Woolworths or Safeway supermarket located within Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Northern Territory or New South Wales.
Promoter - The Promoter is Woolworths Limited (ABN 88 000 014 675), 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, 2153, NSW.
Promotion - means the Woolworths "Cash for Christmas –$20 Woolworths Gift Card" Promotion governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
Promotional Period - means from 06:00 AEDST on Monday, 22/10/2012 to 23:59 AEDST on Sunday, 11/11/2012.
Registered - means that all mandatory Cardholder information has been correctly completed in the legal name of the Cardholder, according to the Everyday Rewards database. Register for Everyday Rewards at everydayrewards.com.au (the “Website”), by telephoning the Customer Service Centre on 1300 10 1234 (the “Call Centre”), or by completing and returning the Everyday Rewards Registration Form to the address specified on the Registration Form. In the instance where an unregistered Everyday Rewards Card is used at the point of purchase, the card may be deemed as “Registered” if the card holder successfully registers all the mandatory Cardholder information before 11.59pm on the date of purchase.
How to Enter
3. During the Promotional Period, the registered Cardholder must register at
www.woolworths.com.au/cash and enter their Everyday Rewards card number, and email address by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/10/12. (Registered Cardholder)
4. To be eligible to receive a Gift Card under this Promotion, a Registered cardholder must spend $100 or more at a Participating outlet on Woolworths grocery items (excluding Woolworths Liquor, smoking and tobacco products, WISH gift cards and selected services), in either a single transaction or in multiple transactions (online transactions must be delivered during the promotional week), in each of the following weeks:
(a) 12:01am AEDST on Monday 22nd October 2012 to 11:59pm AEDST on Sunday 28th October 2012;
(b) 12:01am AEDST on Monday 29th October 2012 to 11:59pm AEDST on Sunday 4th November 2012; and
(c) 12:01am AEDST on Monday 5th November 2012 to 11:59pm AEDST on Sunday 11th November 2012.
5. In order for a purchase by a Registered Cardholder to be counted as part of the $100 spend requirement in the Promotion, the Registered Cardholder must either:
(a) present and swipe their Card at point of purchase during the Promotional Period; or
(b) input their Card number prior to completion of a Woolworths online order.
6. In each week during the Promotional Period, the Promoter will notify each Registered Cardholder by email of the amount spent by that Registered Cardholder during the previous week.
7. If a Registered Cardholder is eligible for a Gift Card under this Promotion, the Promoter will confirm via email and mail the Gift Card to the address provided by the Registered Customer prior to 13th November2012. The Registered Cardholder is responsible for ensuring that the correct address has been provided in their Everyday Rewards account. The Promoter will not be liable for failure to deliver the Gift Card due to incomplete or incorrect information provided by the Registered Cardholder
8. A Registered Cardholder who is eligible for a Gift Card under this Promotion, but does not receive it by 7 December 2012, should contact Everyday Rewards on 1300 10 1234.
9. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law.
10. The Promoter may use any personal information that a registered Cardholder has provided to it for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, first initial, state of residence and Participating Supermarket. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centres, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) which the Promoter engages for that purpose. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A copy of the Promoter's privacy policy can be viewed at

11. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
