TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. This competition (Competition) is governed by and subject to the following Terms and
Conditions.
2. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions of entry.
3. Participation in this Competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. This Competition is open to all Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Black Crown Signature Club
Members (Members) and all non-Members who join Crown Signature Club during the Competition
Period.
5. The Competition commences at 6.00am on Monday 26 November 2012 and concludes at 8.00pm
on Friday 21 December 2012. The Competition runs Monday – Friday only and is not available on
weekends (Competition Period).
Note: During the Competition Period, the commencing time for any given week is 6.00 am on a
Monday and the concluding time at the end of the applicable week is 6.00 am on the Saturday.
However, on the last day of the Competition Period, the concluding time is 8.00 pm on the Friday
21 December 2012.
6. The Competition comprises of:
a) Major Prize Draw (Major Prize Draw)
b) Instant Prize Draw (Instant Prize Draw)
TO ENTER
7. To participate in the Major Prize Draw and Instant Prize Draw, Crown Signature Club Members
must visit any gaming floor Voucher Issuance Kiosk (VIK) during the Competition Period and
select the Competition icon to be automatically entered into the Major Prize Draw and Instant Prize
Draw.
8. All non-Members who join Crown Signature Club during the Competition are eligible to enter the
Competition as stated in clause 7.
9. Members will be informed immediately if they have won an Instant Prize and the prize won from
the VIK.
10. Instant Prize winners will be notified in writing by receiving a printed receipt from the VIK.
11. Instant Prize receipts are redeemable for the relevant Instant Win Prize during the Redemption
Period as set out below (Redemption Period):
a) at the Competition Redemption Centre (stage) located outside the Jackpot Bar between
11.00am – 8.00pm Monday to Friday during the Competition Period and after these hours
from the Central Crown Signature Club Information Desk; and
b) at the Central Crown Signature Club Information Desk between 6.00am Monday, 24
December – 10.00pm Friday, 28 December 2012.
12.Members who win an Instant Prize will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Major Prize
Draw.
13.Members who do not win an Instant Prize will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Major
Prize Draw.
14.Members who receive an entry into the Major Prize Draw will be notified by the VIK (no receipt will
be printed) and the Member will be automatically added to the Major Prize Draw.
15.A maximum of one (1) Instant Prize Draw entry can be redeemed by a Member on each Day
during the Competition Period.
16.A maximum of one (1) Major Prize Draw entry can be issued to a Bronze and Silver Member on
each Day during the Competition.
17. Gold, Platinum and Black Crown Signature Club Members are eligible to earn additional entries, up
to a maximum of nine (9) per Day, into the Major Prize Draw by earning 400 cumulative Crown
Signature Club points for each additional entry from rated Table Games play during a Day within
the Competition Period, up to a maximum of nine (9) per Day. These entries will be registered
automatically after their initial visit to the VIK on the day of the Competition.
18. No other method of entry will be accepted.
19. In the event the VIK machines malfunction during the Competition Members can either:a) await the rectification of the VIK machines or
b) forgo their chance to win an Instant Prize for that Day and instead register for the Major
Prize Draw at the Central Crown Signature Club information desk.
20. Further copies of these Terms and Conditions and the Crown Signature Club Rules will be available
at any Crown Signature Club information desk.
INSTANT PRIZE DRAW
21. There will be a total of 88,000 automated entries made available to Members who enter the
Competition. From the 88,000 automated entries, 17,600 will be winners of Instant Prizes. From
the 17,600 Instant Win Prizes:
a) 50 will win a Crown Food and Beverage Voucher valued at $200.00
b) 25 will win a Crown Food and Beverage Voucher valued at $100.00
c) 25 will win an Isika Voucher valued at $100.00
d) 1,000 will win 2,000 Crown Signature Club Points valued at $20.00
e) 2,500 will win a Set of 2 Champagne Glasses valued at $16.00
f) 3,500 will win a Collectable Silver Bird Christmas Bauble valued at $14.00
g) 3,500 will win a Collectable Silver Pine Christmas Bauble valued at $14.00
h) 3,500 will win a Collectable Silver Star Christmas Bauble valued at $14.00

Note: From the total of 88,000 automated entries, 88,000 will enter the Major Prize Draw.
22. Total value of the Instant Win Prizes: $271,000.00.
23. If the full allocation of prizes has been won prior to the close of the Competition Period, then the
Instant Win component of the Competition will close before the scheduled end date of Friday 21
December 2012. Automated entries into the Major Prize Draw will continue until the end of the
Competition Period.
24. In the event that the Instant Win Component of the Competition closes prior to the scheduled end
date of Friday 21 December 2012, Instant Prize winners can still redeem their prize during the
Redemption Period in accordance with clause 11. Prizes will not be replaced in the prize pool once
won.
MAJOR DRAW PRIZE
25. The Major Prize Draw will be drawn on Friday 21 December at 9pm in the Administration Office at
Crown, Level 6, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank 3006. The drawn winner will win a Chrysler 300C,
including standard features, automatic transmission, on road costs, registration (first 12 months
only) and dealer delivery valued at $53,777.00.
26. In the event the Major Prize is not claimed by the winner by 10.00am Monday 14 January 2013,
the Major Prize (Car) redraw will take place at 2.00pm on Monday 14 January 2013 in the
Administration Office at Crown, Level 6, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank 3006.
27. Total maximum prize value for the Competition is $324,777.00.
PLEASE NOTE
28. Prizes are not negotiable or transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
29.Any other ancillary costs which may be payable as a result of taking the Major Prize such as, but
not limited to, additional insurance and petrol are not included and are the sole responsibility of
the winner.
30. If a prize is unavailable for any reason at the time of the prize draw, Crown will instead award the
winner a similar prize of equivalent value (as determined by Crown).
31. The prizes specified as vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the voucher as
specified at the back of the voucher and further terms as set out at the web site
crowngifts.com.au. Vouchers valid for 12 months from the date of the Major Draw/collection.
Vouchers not redeemed within the allocated period will be deemed forfeited.
32. Instant prizes not claimed during the Redemption Period will be deemed forfeited.
33.Members participating in this Competition are bound by the Crown Signature Club rules.
34. For the purpose of this competition a ‘Day’ is defined as a 24 hour period commencing at 6.00am
and ending at 6.00am on the following day. 35. In the event that a draw cannot be conducted at the specified time due to unforeseen
circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control, the affected draw will take place as soon as
practicable after the delay has been resolved.
36.Winners will be notified as follows: Instant Prize Winners will be notified in accordance with clause
9; and the Major Prize Winner will be notified by telephone and in writing.
37.Crown reserves the right and licence to use a selected entrant’s name, suburb, photograph, image
and likeness for the purpose of promoting and advertising Crown and the Crown Entertainment
Complex.
38. Details of the Major Prize winner (or redraw winner if applicable) will be published on the Crown
website (
www.crownmelbourne.com.au) from Monday 7 January 2013 (or on Monday 14 January in
the case of a redraw), for 28 days.
39.Subject to law, Crown (including its employees, agents and contractors) has no liability to any person
for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection with this
Competition (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prizes). This clause does not
apply to the extent that Crown’s liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of Crown in respect of
its supply of services and/or goods to the prize winner in the ordinary course of Crown’s business.
40.Crown reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen
circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control) but only after consultation with and approval by the
Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation.
41. This Competition is only open to Members aged 18 years and over.
42. Employees of Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth (including the Burswood Group of companies) and Crown
Limited are not permitted to enter this Competition.
43. This Competition is not open to patrons excluded from the casino pursuant to the provisions of the
Casino Control Act or who are otherwise excluded, including persons who have had their licence to be
on the premises withdrawn.
44.Subject to clause 37 and 38, entrants’ personal information obtained in relation to this
Competition is for the sole use of identifying the winners of the Competition and will not be
disclosed to any other organisations. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to the
Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation as required under relevant lottery
legislation.
45.Crown’s decision in connection with any aspect of this Competition will be binding and final on every
entrant.
46.Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification of any
entrant. Disqualification will be at Crown’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered
into.
47.Crown practises the responsible service of gaming.
