FISHING BAIT
The committee suggest that you pre-order your bait by Wednesday, 9th March 2011.

FISHING AREAS
Allocation of fishing areas is by the way of colour coded pegs which are allocated upon entry.
Pegs can be obtained from BBQ's Galore Horsham or at Wimmera Outdoors Horsham from Saturday, 2nd March 2013 and can then be placed at your selected fishing area.
Full details of rules and regulations and prize lists are given at time of entry and collection of pegs.
FAMILY CAMPING ALONG THE BEAUTIFUL WIMMERA RIVER
The Horsham Fishing Competition is a family friendly event which encompasses the experience of camping. Family and friends who wish to fish together in a quiet and relaxed environment can fish in an allocated area along the river reserved for this specific purpose.
All Angling clubs that enter early will be allocated camping and fishing areas. Please note that camping is free in all allocated areas along the riverfront.
CARP / TENCH CASH JACKPOT
Prior to the start of the competition, the tournament referee will select a mystery weight to win the $500.00 cash jackpot. If there are no carp matches the mystery weight, the carp to the nearest weight wins the $500.00 cash jackpot.
Come along and share the joy of fishing and hope to catch the biggest fish. All fish are collected by stewards promptly and are kept in damp bags in cool conditions. Upon arrival at the weigh in point the fish are quickly measured, sexed and weighted and then placed into aerated holding tanks. All native fish are return to the water.
