Information on how to enter the draw and win prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents who are active members of dusk rewards, aged 18 years.
Employees of dusk Australasia Pty Ltd, Universal Pictures Australasia, their associated agencies’ employees and members of their immediate families are ineligible to enter the competition.
Entry is limited to one per person.
This competition commences January 28, 2013and ends February 23, 2013.
Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
To enter this competition,entrants must shop at dusk during the promotional period then fill in their name, address, email and phone number on the dusk rewards website, and finish the sentence in the field provided “This year I want to...”
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process (including but not limited to using automated means to enter). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Entries are limited to one per person per household per competition. All additional entries citing the same email address or dusk rewards account will be removed.Entries must be receivedFebruary 23rd, 2013 at 23:59 EST. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
Any entry that is made on behalf of an Entrant without the consent of the Entrant by a third party will be invalid.
Draw will be conducted at dusk Australasia Pty Ltd, 7 Mackay Street, KewdaleWA6156. Winner will be notifiedwithin 7 days of the draw. Winners will be notified by email or phone and winner will be posted on Facebook.com/duskAustralasia and the dusk Twitter site after the draw.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
There is one major prize to be won, and comprises of:
- Return Economy-Class flights for two to Broome from the nearest capital city in Australia.
- 5 nights for two adults in at The Pearle of Cable Beach Resort in Broome
- Return flights for two adults from the nearest Australian capital city to Broome, WA.
Major Prize is valid from 15th October 2013 until 31 March 2014 (not available during Christmas Holidays 24th Dec 2013 to 7th January 2014)
2-for-1 Tickets are available one per dusk rewards Customer.
2-for-1 tickets are valid to us from February 28, 2013 until the end of the film’s theatrical season at all participating cinemas including Village Cinemas, Greater Union, BCC, Event, Palace, Hoyts, Wallis, Dendy, Grand and selected independents. (Excludes public holidays, discount days and after 5pm on Saturdays) . Valid even with “No Free Tickets” listing.
This ticket must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, for sale, transferable or redeemable for cash and is valid at participating cinemas only. This ticket does not guarantee admission and is subject to seat availability. Check cinemas for session times or call ahead to avoid disappointment. Discount days vary between cinemas, please check beforehand to avoid disappointment. This ticket must be exchanged at the box office for a valid ticket. Not valid for online or mobile ticketing. Ticket is for single use and must be surrendered upon redemption. The winner and their companions are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, and all other ancillary costs.

The Pearle of Cable Beach Resort will supply the prize which will include: 5 nights for two in at The Pearle of Cable Beach Resort in Broome. Accommodation is for up to 2 adults. Prize includes flights from the winners nearest capital city in Australia to Broome WA, to the maximum value of $2,000.
The winner and travelling companions will be responsible for all other expenses associated with the prize, including but not limited to spending money, additional meals, drinks, laundry charges, mini bar, activities, incidentals, taxes, energy surcharges, gratuities, service charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.
Each winner and his or her travelling companions must travel at the same time, and must depart from the same capital city. The prize winner is responsible for transport from their place of residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure.
The prize must be taken between 15th October 2013 until 31 March 2014 (not available during Christmas Holidays 24th Dec 2013 to 7th January 2014)
Prize is not redeemable for cash and is non-transferrable.
If a winner is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, an adult must accompany the winner in the participation of the prize.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the resort for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
A credit card authorisation will need to be provided as security for the accommodation. The apartment must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Damages to the apartment, furniture or fixtures will be at the winner’s expense.
If for any reason the winner does not take a prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the promoterThe Pearle of Cable Beach Resort, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
The promoter The Pearle of Cable Beach Resort, dusk Australasia and Hopscotch Films reserves the right to publicise winners (including name, address and business) throughout broadcast, electronic and print media, point of sale and newsletters without compensation.
Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline’s departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers.
Should any unclaimed prizes be an event based prize with a redemption date, any unclaimed prizes from the draw will be re-drawn no less than 3 months from the above draw date.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
