Entry is only open to
Australian residents aged 18 years or over.Individuals must have a Facebook account in order to access the promotional page.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences at 10:00am AEDST on 11/02/2013 and ends at 11:59pm AEDST on 03/03/2013 ('Promotional Period').
To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
visit the Aussie Facebook Page at
www.facebook.com/AussieHomeLoans ('Promotional Page');
become a fan of the Promotional Page by clicking the 'like' button (if not an existing fan of the Promotional Page);
click on the 'Aussie Fast Five' promotional tab;
follow the prompts to the promotion entry page;
input their requested personal details (including their full name, phone number and a valid email address);
follow the prompts to complete the timed Aussie Quiz.
Individuals will have up to 45 seconds to correctly answer five (5) randomly generated finance and property related multiple-choice questions. The objective is to answer the highest number of questions correctly and do so in the shortest amount of time; andsubmit the fully completed entry form so it is received during the Promotional Period.
A provisional leaderboard will be featured on the Promotional Page with an up-to-date record of the highest scoring entrants, the number of questions they correctly answered, and their recorded time. Entrants should not rely on information featured on the leaderboard to confirm if they a winner. Leaderboards may not be a true reflection of the results. All entries and entrants featured on a leaderboard are subject to verification by the Promoter
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) entry permitted per person for the duration of the Promotional Period.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Winners will be notified in writing by email and telephone.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The entries received each week of the Promotional Period will be entered into the entry pool corresponding to the week the entry was received ('Weekly Entry Pool'), for a total of four (3) Weekly Entry Pools. Entries into each Weekly Entry Pool will close at 11:59pm AEDST on the dates outlined in the table below. Entries into the first Weekly Entry Pool will open at 10:00am AEDST on 11/02/2013 and entries into each subsequent Weekly Entry Pool will open as soon as entries into the previous Weekly Entry Pool close. Entries into each Weekly Entry Pool will not be entered into any subsequent Weekly Entry Pools.

This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. The winner in each Weekly Entry Pool will be determined to be the entrant who answered the highest number of questions correctly (out of all entrants in that Weekly Entry Pool) and did so in the shortest amount of time ('Best Entry'). For the sake of clarity, the entrant that answers the most questions correctly will be the Best Entry, and in the event of a tie for the most questions answered correctly between two (2) or more entrants, the Best Entry will be the tied entrant that answered the relevant number of questions in the fastest time. In the event of a further tie between two or more entrants for the Best Entry in any Weekly Entry Pool (either for the Major Prize or a Minor Prize), the tied entrants will be required to provide an answer to the tie-breaker question. The entrant who provides the best answer (as determined by the Promoter) to the tie-breaker question 'Why do you deserve to win?' will be declared the winner. Answers will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit.
Subject to clause 13, the valid entrant with the Best Entry in each Weekly Entry Pool will win a black Apple iPhone 5 (16GB), valued at $799 ('Major Prize').
Subject to clause 13, the four (4) valid entrants with the next Best Entry (after the winner) in each Weekly Entry Pool will each win a $50 Coles Group & Myer Gift Card ('Minor Prize').Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Gift Card are not included. Any unused balance of the Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Gift Card.
If for any reason a winner does not take a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the Promotional Page is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia ('Non-Excludable Guarantees'). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

Entry is conditional on providing this information.
