Official Competition Terms & Conditions

 

Forward to Win
1.Q1 Resort & Spa will award a winner a two-night stay in a one-bedroom spa for a maximum of two guests.  Prize is not redeemable for cash. Flights and transfers not included.
2.Prize is non-transferable and is valid for travel until Wednesday 18 June, 2014.  Booking subject to availability and exclusion dates apply.  Travel not available during Queensland or New South Wales school holidays, public holiday long weekends, Schoolies Weeks and GC600 weekend.
3.How to enter: 1.Applicants must be subscribed to Q1 Resort & Spa’s QNews.  Entry will be deemed void if applicant unsubscribes from QNews prior to competition end date.
2.Applicant must forward the May QNews on to a friend, between 3:00pm Tuesday 21 May, 2013 to 9:00am on Friday 14 June, 2013 (Queensland time).3.One entry per forward.  No limit to the number of forwards.
4.No purchase is required to enter.

4.Winner will be selected at random from among eligible entries.  The winner will be notified by email no later than 5:00pm on Monday 17 June, 2013 (Queensland time).  Winner will be announced in the June edition of QNews.
5.Winner will be emailed a gift voucher for redemption with instructions on how to book.
6.Once confirmed, bookings are subject to Q1 Resort & Spa’s standard booking policy.  Upgrades and extensions subject to availability and will be subject to standard pricing
7.If prize not claimed within 14 days of prize notification, winner surrenders claim and another winner will be selected in his/her place. In this instance, participants in the second selection process will consist of all non-winning entrants, who will be automatically entered in the Contest. The winner in the second Contest will be notified no later than Tuesday 1 July, 2013. No further selection of winners will be conducted.
8.Contest is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.  Employees of Q1 Resort & Spa and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. If it is found that a person who does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in these rules has submitted an entry, that entry will be deemed ineligible and any prize awarded shall be revoked.
9.Acceptance of a Prize constitutes permission to Q1 Resort & Spa to use a winner’s name for any promotional, advertising, or Internet usage without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
10.By accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Q1 Resort & Spa and their respective directors, officers, agents, employees and assigns, from and against any and all claims, loss, damage, and/or liability arising from or out of the use or non-use of the Prize.
11.Q1 Resort & Spa reserve the right to change the Contest Official Rules or terminate the Contest without notice. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned (including, but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering or unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest), Q1 Resort & Spa reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
12.Q1 Resort & Spa shall not be responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of Prize.
