Sadly, I have reached an age where care of my skin has moved up the priorities list. When did those lines start to appear around my eyes and how can I stop it? Argh!
Whilst I'm usually skeptical about products that claim to reverse the signs of ageing, the new L'Oreal Revitalist Laser X3 Anti Power Moisturiser, I'll admit, piqued my interest. Hailed as the anti-ageing cream that mimics the effects of laser treatment – the Revitalift x3 promises big...and surprisingly delivers!

First Impressions Count
The cream comes in a very stylish, square shaped ruby red glass jar. It feels from the outset that you are getting an expensive product for an everyday price.
The Product
The first thing I noticed about the product is the very pleasant light floral fragrance. Second is the texture. The cream is rich and luxurious and is absorbed by the skin easily without any greasy residue. After application skin feels immediately soft and silky, and it provides a fantastic base for foundation.
The Technology
The Revitalift Laser X3 has been fourteen years in the making, and contains a three percent concentrate of the active ingredient Pro-Xylane (which is derived from plant sugars.) The Pro-Xylane stimulates collagen in the skin and promotes skin regeneration and corrects wrinkles.
The Pro-Xylane works in combination with Fragmented Hyaluronic Acid (that penetrates deeper to repair and correct the appearance of wrinkles) and LHA (which gently exfoliates to reveal a smooth and even skin tone.)
The Results
I have been using the Revitalift X3 cream twice a day for a little over 6 weeks. I probably have another week left in it before it will need replacing, so in terms of value, a pot will last you approximately 6-8 weeks. Remember it is concentrated, and the luxuriously thick texture, means that you don't have to use lots of it.
My skin feels very soft and is visibly more healthy. In particular, the fine lines around my eyes have been reduced, the pores on and around my nose (usually a problem area) are dramatically improved (which excites me no end) and my skin tone is more even with a glow that is usually absent during the cooler months.
I will be replacing the Revitalift X3 cream when it runs out. The affordable price point and the positive effects that it has had on my skin, means that the question of continuing its use are a no-brainer for me. The only downside to this product is that it does not contain any SPF, but really considering all the things it does achieve, I am happy to apply an SPF separately during the summer months.
