The Everyday Rewards Win $5000 worth of shopping competition commences at 08:00am AEST on Wednesday 12 June 2013 & entries close 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 23 June 2013. To enter the Promotion, a Registered Everyday Rewards Customer needs to click on the "Win $5000 worth of shopping" button featured in their June 2013 Everyday Rewards statement then confirm their 'Card' number and click enter. One entry will be recorded for each registered Everyday Rewards member. There will be a total of 101 prizes. One (1) Major prize comprises of $5000 worth of Woolworths Gift Cards and will be awarded in one installment consisting of 10 x $500 Woolworths Gift Cards. There will be 100 Minor prizes, each comprising of one (1) $50 Woolworths Gift Card. The Total Prize pool value is $10,000. Prize draws will take place at 11:00am AEST on Wednesday 26 June 2013 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street North Sydney, NSW 2060. The prize winners will be contacted in writing within 2 days of the draw. The Everyday Rewards Win $5000 worth of shopping promotion - Terms & Conditions of Entry

The Everyday Rewards Win $5000 worth of shopping (the “Promotion”) is a promotion conducted under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.

1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Cardholder from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

2. The Promotion is open to all members who have registered for the Everyday Rewards Program and who enter by clicking on the link featured in their June 2013 Everyday Rewards statement. Entry into the Promotion is free.  Directors, management and employees of Salmat Digital Pty Ltd and its agencies directly associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
These Terms & Conditions of Entry will be displayed at everydayrewards.com.au at the commencement of the Promotion.

3. Definitions within this Promotion:
Card - means a Registered Everyday Rewards Card issued by the Promoter as part of the Everyday Rewards Program.
Cardholder - means a person who holds an Everyday Rewards Card, and who is Registered according to the Everyday Rewards Program database. 
Promoter - Woolworths Limited ABN 88 000 014 675 of 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista, NSW, 2153.
Promotion - means The Everyday Rewards Win $5000 worth of shopping promotion governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry and conducted as a promotion under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program.
Promotional Period - means 08:00 AEST on Wednesday 12 June 2013 to 23.59 AEST on Sunday 23 June 2013.
Woolworths Gift Card - means a Woolworths Supermarket Gift Cards which can be redeemed at any participating Woolworths Supermarket.
Registered - means that all mandatory Cardholder information has been correctly completed in the legal name of the Cardholder, according to the Everyday Rewards database.

4. The Promotion commences at 08:00 AEST on Wednesday 12 June 2013 and entries close 23.59 AEST on Sunday 23 June 2013. (“Promotion Period”).

5. To enter the Promotion a Cardholder must click on the “Win $5000 worth of shopping” button featured in their June 2013 Everyday Rewards statement then confirm their ‘Card’ number and click enter. One entry will be recorded for each Cardholder. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter.

6. The Prize winners will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries. The prize draw will take place at 11:00am AEST on Wednesday 26 June, 2013 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060. 

7. The first valid entry randomly drawn will be the Major prize winner. The next one hundred (100) valid entries drawn will be the Minor prize winners. The prize winners will be contacted in writing within 2 days of the draw.. The major prize winner will have their name and state published in The Australian newspaper and on the Everyday Rewards website on Wednesday 3 July 2013. All minor winners will have their names and state published on the Everyday Rewards website on Wednesday 3 July 2013. If any winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the Prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of entry.

8. There will be a total of 101 prizes. The total Prize pool value is $10,000. The Major prize comprises of $5000 worth of Woolworths Gift Cards and will be awarded in one installment consisting of 10 x $500 Woolworths Gift Cards. Each Minor prize comprises of a $50 Woolworths Gift Card. Gift Cards expire 12 months from date of issue. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

9. Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.

10. If a winner does not claim their prize within 3 months from the date and time of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary, subject to regulatory authority. The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00 noon AEST on Thursday 26 September 2013 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. In the event of an unclaimed prize draw, the prize winners will be contacted by phone within 2 days of the draw and in writing within 7 days of the draw. All prize winners of any subsequent draw will have their names and state published in The Australian newspaper and on the Everyday Rewards website on Wednesday 2 October 2013.

11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes.  Independent financial advice should be sought.

12. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any Cardholder who is in breach of these Conditions or the Terms and Conditions of the Everyday Rewards Program, or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the Promotion.

13. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit

14. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

15. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law). The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

16. Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose other obligations including statutory consumer guarantees which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limit extent. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all guarantees, warranties, conditions or other terms that apply under or are implied by statute, common law or trade custom or usage.

17. If in the conduct of this Promotion the Promoter is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or is implied by any other commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot be excluded, the promoter's liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.

18. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. The Promoter, Salmat Digital Pty Limited and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

19. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given by regulatory authorities.

20. The Promoter may use any personal information that a Registered Cardholder has provided to it for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, first initial and state of residence. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centres, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) which the Promoter engages for that purpose. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
